**Objects:** The Charity’s objects are specifically restricted to the relief of need in the rural community (meaning those working in, retiring from, or seeking to work in farming or other rural businesses) arising from age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage and the fostering of new businesses in the rural community, in particular but not limited to: 1. The provision of housing for those who are in need including affordable dwellings and work-live premises for people employed in rural situations.2. The provision of emergency relief for farmers affected by circumstances beyond their control including but not limited to extreme weather events, animal disease or family illness or hardship.3. The creation of training, employment and business opportunities including but not limited to providing farms or land to lease to new entrants to farming.

**Activities:** The charity&#x27;s objects are the promotion of for the public benefit of rural regeneration in areas of social or economic deprivation, in particular by a) the relief of poverty and b) the provision of housing for those who are in need provided that such power shall not extend to relieving any local authority or other bodies of a statutory duty to provide or improve housing
