Thg charity is a charitable company registèrad wth the char￿&$ Commisslon- charty numb8r.' 1096848 and is
govemad by its rnemorandum and articles of association. The objects of the charty. as 3el out in the
90veming d￿Ument are the advancamant of thè Christian Farth in London, England and particulady in tha
Canary Wharf èstate within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The Christian Faith. is defined within the
Artides of Associaiion as the fundamèntal truths of Christianity ravèaléd in Scripturè. Trnduding those confirmed
by the ¢hurth's hi31oric catholic creeds and the Thirty Nine ArtiC￿S of Religion of the Church of England.
Summary of th• eharitrfs maln Jctlvttkns
To further the above objects and vlsion, the charity's main activities has been the provislon of a meeting pla¢e
for a Christl8n workplaee ministry within the Canary Wharf complex in London 8nd a Sunday church for those
living in the wider Docklands area.
St Peters Bargè Is in hè firsl place a Chiislian centre for the 120,000 working in Canary Wharf. It aims to
encourage and equip Christians who work In the Wharf to livè out their farth in th& workplace, and to prtsvid$ a
r&lax8d and unprgssured enwronrnent for those who are not Chiistian lo investigate the claims of Jesus Christ.
There are wegkly lunchtlme BSble talks, biblè study groups. and a course for enqulrers. as well 8S OPPOrtuniti98
to mèÈt to tal( one-toryone. Sl Pelerfs Barge also holds special guest events to enable Christians in Canary
Wharf to Invlie thelrfri¢nds to hear the Chrislian good news, ask questions and discuss. The bcation and
venue make it especially attractive for those who may be put off by a more trad￿onal ¢hurch.
In addition to the mioweek work there Is a Sunday cOngregat￿n focused on reaching out to friends and the
eommunty in this thriving and ever4leveloping part of London. The Sunday church has a congregation of
about 100 adults And 30 childr8n Meeting al church $8rvic8s on Sunday mornings, and forgroupB and actiwlies
during the week. Income is raisad through thè Company In Ordèr to fund this work.
In plannlng thg 8etNitiè$ th& TNstee8 have applied the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity
Slru¢tur•. Govwnanc• and Management
Responsibility for setting policy and for detemiining the parameters wthin which the charity should operate
rasts with th9 tru$lees who monitor ihe activities of the charity. Responsibility for the day lo day operation of
the ch8rfty has bgèn d818981gd lo a senior management team led by Rev M Nodder. New Iruslees are
recrurted and appointed by the exi8ting trustee8, by a maprity vote.

Flnancial rgview
During the year income dècrea58d by £51.286 to £323,618, and expenditure decreased by £10,145 to
£334,607. As a result total funds for the year decreased by £10.989 to £295,305 and the charfty's net 8ssets
decreased to the same ligure. Nst current a$$91$ increased by £3.211 to £185,285.

The trjstees have detemilned that the charity should airn to hold unrestricted cash of no1gSS than £84,060
{which equates to about 3 months, ol unrestricted exp8nditur8150 that the charity could continue to oper819
should income and l or expenditure vary adversely. At the year end. the eharity held unrèstrictsd Cash of
£180,112 and th¢ charity is complylng ￿th ts res&Nes polw.

The charity is axposgd to various risks- be thay opèrational, financial tsr reputat￿n￿l. The trusteos rsvi$w thg
charitls activithes to idenlfy signrfiranl risks and. where possibl8, they take appropriat• m8a8ure$ lo mitigate
those risks.

Th& trustees are responsible for pr*p8rin9 the tnJstse¥' annual report and the financlal statgrnents in
accordance wth 8ppli¢able law and United Kingdom Accounting Standard8 {United Kingdom Generally
