TRUSTEES, REPORT FOR CHORLEY UNITARIAN CHAPEL ANNUAL RETURN 2024 CHARITY NUMBER 1096802 The Chairn]an, Secretsry and Treasurer manage the business of the Chapel, but they receive invaluable help from members of the congregation. Anyone who pays an annual subscription to be a member of the Chapel is a Trustee, currently Trustees are, John Hewerdine. Dorothy Hewerdine, Sylvia Merrick. Doreen Jolly, Lilian Ratcliffe and Glenys Watkins. The activities during the year have been to arrange regular services of worship in our Chapel, services are held once a month on the 3rd Sunday, Our objective is to promote a free and inquiring reliOn through the worship of God and the celcbrdtion of life. There is a separate building across the road from the Chapel which we call our Chapel Hall, this is owned by the Chapel and is used by groups for various activities, a rent is charged for the use of the Hall. The activities held are attended by adults and children from the local community. The Chapel receives income from the collections at services, the rents from groups using the Hall and from investrnents. This year money has been spent maintaining the Chapel and Hall and donations have been made to charities.
