**Objects:** (I) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE CEREMONIAL COUNTY OF SHROPSHIRE AND ITS IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREA BY ASSISTING THE WORK OF STATUTORY AUTHORITIES RELIEVING POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS, OR IN PURSUING ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES.(II) TO PROMOTE AND ORGANISE CO-OPERATION IN THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SAID PURPOSES AND TO THAT END TO BERING TOGETHER REPRESENTATIVES OF THE AUTHORITIES AND ORGANISATIONS ENGAGED IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE SAID PURPOSES WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** We develop and deliver practical solutions to rural problems that maintain the well-being of individuals and communities in Shropshire. We help prevent rural isolation and loneliness and enable access to economic and community activity. We support community and voluntary organisations to enable them to improve the quality of life for people in Shropshire and influence policy makers on rural issues
