Having completed the Bangladesh psychosocial
support training side of the programme in March
2020 in partnership with CRS / Caritas
Bangladesh, the lockdowns and travel
disruptions for the whole of this period
necessitated in No Strings working solely from
the UK offce. Along with the project work
outlined below, time was dedicated to
strengthening ongoing partnerships with
international organisations and developing
relationships with additional organisations that
will allow us to signifcantly scale programming
into the future.
**June / July / August 2020: Coronavirus Hand**
**Washing Song Video Development**
No Strings worked with a number of
organisations to support country-wide level
efforts to limit coronavirus infection through
hand washing with soap (HWWS). We were
able to adapt the existing HWWS song and
video with specifc messages around Covid 19.
The song was dubbed into Shona for use in
Zimbabwe, working with Save the Children, and
into Creole for use in Haiti through a partnership
with Population Media Center. The flm and
song were aired on prime time TV and
numerous local radio stations, and widely
circulated through established WhatsApp
groups. No Strings was able to donate all
services.
**June / July / August 2020: Completion of**
**PSS Training Manuals, Rohingya Project,**
**Bangladesh**
An extensive training document was created to
support the ongoing rollout of the Butterfy and
Frog psychosocial support programmes in Cox’s
Bazar, Bangladesh. The document outlines ten
90-minute sessions for each of the flm projects,
which focus on improving the wellbeing of
Rohingya children and teenage boys and girls

**Proposal Submissions, Rohingya Project,**
**Bangladesh**
Additional proposals were completed with our
partners in Bangladesh to continue the training
programme once the situation allows.
**Ongoing throughout Period: Handwashing**
**with Soap Programme, Nairobi, Kenya**
While schools in the Kawangware district where
much of our previous programming were closed
over chunks of time during this year, we were
able to keep abreast of progress with the
systems and practices we had established with
our school partners there while children were in
class. From discussions with staff it would
appear that both are still going strong with the
majority of children handwashing with soap in
school before lunch and after latrine use. Soap
making practices continued and the equipment
we had put in place to support this remained
well looked after by children and staff.
**Ongoing throughout Period: Human**
**Elephant Confict Programme Development,**
**Kenya**
The implementation of this programme was
inevitably put on hold during this period but we
were able to continue discussions with the Born
Free Foundation to further understand the
needs of both humans and elephants living in /
around the Meru and Amboseli national parks in
Kenya, and to create a full training concept
involving use of an elephant puppet to help
support the rights of people living near the
national parks along with elephant populations.
Implementation of the project will now take
