**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE LOCAL HISTORY OF FINEDON PARISH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY CONDUCTING RESEARCH AND KEEPING APPROPRIATE RECORDS, BOTH WRITTEN AND VISUAL OF THE RESEARCH AND ACQUIRING PREMISES FOR USE AS A HERITAGE CENTRE TO DISPLAY THESE RECORDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF FINEDON AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** One or more local history exhibitions per annum. Liaison with local schools on matters of local history. Producing books and booklets on matters of local history. Monthly meetings covering talks on history and associated subjects. Organising occasional events concerning history. Historical tours/walks of Finedon.
