**Objects:** (A) THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY IN THE RIPON AREA IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THEM AND FOR THEIR FAMILIES, DEPENDANTS AND CARERS; AND(B) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEED THEREOF BY REASON OF LEARNING DISABILITY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** Ark Ripon is a social club for adults with learning &/ or physical disabilities. We meet at Ripon Bowling Club, Bondgate Green on 3 Tuesday evenings per month (apart from school holidays). Activities include socializing, music, arts, quizzes, games, bingo & crafts. We were formerly known as Ripon Gateway Club (from Sept 1968 to February 2007) and then Avalon Ripon Klub (ARK) until July 2016.
