Objects: (I) By Education To Raise Awareness And Understanding Of The Ageing Process And Its Attendant Problems Among The Public At Large And In Particular Among Those Working With Elderly People With A View To Improving The Quality Of Life For All Elderly People Throughout The United Kingdom ("The Area Of Benefit") And In Particular The Residents Of Residential And Nursing Homes(ii) To Promote The Spiritual Life And Well-Being Of Elderly People Within The Area Of Benefit And In Particular The Residents Of Residential And Nursing Homes As Well As The Spiritual Life And Well Being Of Those Who Care For And Support The Elderly(iii) To Provide Financial Assistance To Enable Residential And Nursing Homes To Appoint Full-Time Or Part-Time Pastoral Assistants To Promote The Spiritual Life Of The Residents Within Such Homes And Those Who Care For And Support Them And Thereby Bring Relief To The Residents Of Such Homes
