Achievements and performance

A number of parents, grandparents, carers and school staff all volunteered to help run the fundraising events on the day. A Christmas fundraising event was held at the school on 15" December 2024 which raised funds of £1,151, an Easter fundraising event was held at the school on 5" April 2025 which raised funds of £371, and a summer fundraising event was held at the school on 12% July 2025 which raised funds of £618.

Extras:

Members organised an online Christmas raffle which raised funds of £361 and an online virtual duck race which raised funds of £242.

A local business provided a Christmas tree collection service, and a local drama school took donations in a charity collection box at their Christmas performance show. The proceeds from both were donated to the Friends of Delamere.

During the year, the charity received a large donation of £168,510 from a private donor. This was donated to the school to help fund the extension for a new art and food tech room for the pupils to use. Volunteers held a social event each half term called Chatty Tuesdays where parents, carers and grandparents were all invited to meet up at the school for 2 hours during the morning for a chat and refreshments and to offer peer to peer support.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 08 / 2025 .

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or the accounts do not accord with the accounting records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
