**Activities:** As an endowment fund, the Foundation seeks to attract legacies and donations from individuals, grant making trusts and corporate bodies.  It uses the income from the accumulated capital to safeguard the long-term future of the Buxton Arts Festival by the regular provision of grants to support its core funding.
