The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for playing cricket. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

The club runs a number of cricket teams: adult men’s and women’s and youth teams for a variety of age groups. We hold regular practice and Summary of the main coaching sessions, as well as a programme of fixtures throughout the activities undertaken for the season. We have also continued to maintain and invest in our ground public benefit in relation to and pavilion at Fordham Heath. Section D Achievements and performance

During the 2021 season we have run adult cricket teams in the Two Summary of the main Counties Championship Division 4 and Division 8-1 (Saturdays), and achievements of the charity the North Essex Cricket League Division 2 (Sundays). We have also during the year played some friendly matches and run a Women’s XI and Colts’ teams at Under 11, 13, 14 and 15 levels. Practice session and coaching by qualified coaches have been held regularly. All teams have a successful and enjoyable season. Eight Ash Green Cricket Club is part of the ECB Safe Hands Management System and are fully compliant with all safeguarding requirements relating to the care of junior members. During the pandemic we have been fully compliant with all government and ECB covid regulations. In addition to fulfilling our objective of providing facilities for local community participation in cricket at various levels, the club also received media attention as the UK’s first carbon-neutral cricket club, and we have actively promoted carbon neutrality to other cricket clubs.
