Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity As in previous years, Friends of Ravenstone successfully organized during the year two major events that became the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts: Winter Fair "Ravensnow" and Summer Fair "Ravenstock", Despite the cold weather in December and the heavy rain in June, families came out in full force, showing their unwavering support for these wonderful community events. The success of both fairs was made possible by the incredible dedication of volunteers who gave their time and effort to create unforgettable experiences for everyone. In addition to these flagship events, we introduced a new initiative | this year: the Christmas Shopping Event, "Ravenshop", where we invited local businesses to sell their products. This event not only raised funds for our charity but also provided a platform for smail businesses to gain recognition within the community.

Expenditures and Contributions

This year, funds raised were used to support several impactful projects:
e Early Years Furniture: The purchase of new furniture for Early Years classrooms created a more enriching and comfortable learning environment for the children.
e Music Provision: Funding was allocated to support music programs for specific year groups, fostering creativity and enhancing the students' musical experience.
e Extracurricular__Activities: Friends of Ravenstone financed lunchtime play activities, including sports and arts, broadening the children’s experiences outside the classroom.
e Books for the Library and Home Reading: Recognizing the vital importance of books, we provided additional funding for the school to expand its library collection and offer children more options for reading both in school and at home.

Our Pre-Loved Uniform Sales continued to run successfully, with at least one sale held each term. These events have become increasingly popular, offering families an affordable option while promoting sustainability by reducing waste and reusing clothing— benefiting both the community and the environment.

The Friends of Ravenstone team, alongside countless volunteers, worked tirelessly throughout the year to organize a variety of engaging events. Highlights included cake sales, a mini disco, quiz evenings, a "Run for Fun" event, and many others.
