Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year	Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year	Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year	The academic year of2021-22 saw a welcome return of live events— with the Christmas Fair 'Ravensnow' held after a hiatus in 2020, a full- blown summer fair after a pupil-only version in 2021 and various cake
			and coffee sales taking place throughout the terms.
			The Christmas Fair was particularly well supported as the first opportunity
			for many parents ofyounger pupils to come toa FoRevent. Ravenstock
			was the usual highlight ofthe summer term, despite the high
			temperatures ofsummer 2022.
			Ateam ofparent volunteers was also able to run pre-used uniform sales
			which proved hugely popular - agreat way both to recycle clothing and to
			provide good value alternatives to buying new.
			Individual donations and non-event giving saw a big decrease year-on-
			year, which was not unexpected given the enormously generous
			donations in 2020-21.
			The biggest expenditure forthe charity this year was to support the
			school in buying touchscreens foreach classroom. The charity continued
			to fund music provision and improvements to the external space at the
			school —including the VVild Space area, a project started pre-pandemic.
			Extra-curricular sport and art activities for lunchtime play were funded to
			broaden the experience for children outside ofthe classroom.

Brief statement ofthe			The charity retains a reserve cash balance sufficient to fund a normal
charity's		policy on reserves	spread ofactivities in a given year. This is to provide cover in the event of
			the PTA being unable to raise its usual level ofincome, or should it
			become inactive fora period oftime —for example through a lack of
			volunteers.
			Friends ofRavenstone has not needed to use any reserve funds in 2021-
			22 due to the ongoing genenw'ty and engagement ofparents and the
			community.
			Where raised funds remain unspent at the end ofthe academic year,
			they are kept in the cash account to support the charity in future and may
			then be used to fund large-scale projects in future years which cannot be
			covered by standard annual income.
