**Objects:** TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND TO ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP LOCAL AMATEUR MUSICAL TALENTS; AND FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF SUCH CHARITABLE BODIES OF FOR SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AS THE COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

**Activities:** The Burford Singers is a choir of amateur local singers.  The choir presents three concerts a year of mainly choral works in Burford.  The choir actively encourages young people to participate by waiving subscriptions for students and uses the local children's choir whenever possible. The performances are mainly accompanied by an orchestra drawn from local players.
