THE RUNNING OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE.

Objects: (1) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Blackburn And The Surrounding Area Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating With The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;establish A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such Community Centre For Activities Promoted By The Association And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects;(2) To Promote The Islamic Religion By All Or Any Of The Following Means:-A) The Performance And Rites Of Islamic Marriage And Burial And Other Ceremonies According To The Principles Of The Islamic Religion;b) Teaching And Educating Members Of The Community, In The Doctrine And Practices Of The Islamic Religion;c) The Relief Of Poverty In Such Ways As The Trustees Shall Determine.
