Introduction
The trustees of Prayer House Ministries are pleased to present their annual report,
together with the financial statements of the charity, for the year ended 31 March 2024.
The trustees who Se￿ed during the year and up to date {and who are also directors under
cornpany law, under the Companies Act 1985), were as follows:_

onsibilities of the Trustees
Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year
end which give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the charity, as at the balance
sheet date, and of ils incoming reSoUr￿S including income and expenditure.
In preparing those financial statements, the trustees followed best practice and:_
selected suitable accounting policies. applying them consistenlly",
made judgments and estimates that were reasonable and prudent.,
staled whether applicable accounling standards had been followed, which were
subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the financial
statements, and
prepared the financial statements on an ongoing concem basi5, unless it felt it was
inappropriate lo assume that the charity will continue on that basis.
The trustees were responsible for keeping accounting records which dis¢108ed, with
reasonable accuracy at any lime, the financial position of the charity enabling them to
ensure that the financial statements complied with the Companies Act 1985.
The Irustees were also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and, as a
result, taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other
irregularities.
A risk assessment officer was appointed by the charity to review health and safety
matters.
A safeguarding officer was also appointed by the charty to review safeguarding matters.

Using the grace of God in prayers to establish a Church for all men and a Church of
excellen￿ in love.
Ob-ectives of the Chari
The objectives of the chafity are.'-
the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide,. and
(li) the relief of povety.
To achieve the above objectives, the charity exercised the following'.-
Engaged in running Sunday services from its church worship address al the Forum
@ Greenwich, Trafalgar Road, London SE10 9EQ, which is in the London Borough
of Greenwich..
{ii) Organised crusades..
liiil Evangelised on a regular basis.,
livl Held prayer meetings and Bible studies.,
{vl Organised youth activities in order to help steer the youth away from crime and
difficult siluations, reaching them with the word of God.
Ivi) Opened their doors wide open to anyone in need of counselling on any particular
matter or issue.
However, in order to enable the charity to cafry Out its objectives effectively, we are
actively looking for our own church building.
anisational Structu
An elected board of at least six members administered the charity.
The board met four times a year, as a minimum, and also had discussions after
church services on Sundays.
Pastor Joseph Aghomi I"Pastor Joe") was appointed by the board to manage the
spiritual and day-to-day operations of the charity-
There were volunteers assisting Pastor Joe in the administration and other areas
where support was needed in managing the charity.

Finance
Risk Review
The trustees conducted their own review of the major risks to which the charity could be
exposed and systems were established to minimise those risks. Internal procedures were
also established and regularty reviewed to ensui'e compliance at all times to overcome
financial scams.
COVID.19 Res
onse and im
act
Due lo the global pandemic of COVID-19 throughout 2020 and beyond, as instructed by
the UK government, lockdown was observed by PHM and all of its UK branches, resulting
in the branches overseas also being subject lo lockdown.
Home visits ceased and pastoral care was provided to bolh members and non-members
of PHM by telephone on a daily basis. Church ministration continued via a television
channel to support both members and non-members spiritually during the pandemic. As
church PHM returned to its church worship address in Greenwich in May 2021. Despite
almost three years since the onset of the pandemic. the impact is still being fell up to
2024.
A COVID-19 relief poverty programme was set up to support not only members of PHM
but anyone in need who experienced financial hardship. Despite the difficulties that the
COVID-19 pandemi¢ presented and conlinues to present, noted below are the
achievements of PHM during the year ended March 2024.

Achlevements for the
ear ended 31 March 2024
lal The workshop on spiritual empowerment which stsrted 12 November 2017 was a
great event and reoccurred during the year up to March 2024 and is still ongoing.
(b) Having gone on a Prayer Retreat to Ashburnham, Kent in the year 2020 (which
was an excrting event full of revelation and knowledge that enlightened all those
who attended), PHM still put into practice that which was revealed from Jehovah
during the Prayer Retreat.
Icl The Children's Minislry and Sunday School continued to improve because of
contributions from our Youth Minister and volunteers, with Brother James Lescott
Jr as Sunday School Teacher.
{d) TV programmes on Faith World TV (channel 588} are ongoing and exposed PHM
immensely as a worldwide ministration through the areas of preaching, evangelism,
teaching and the prophetic. During the live, weekly broadcasts. there was a prayer
line for callers to ring Pastor Joe and the ministers for prayers and spiritual
guidance, with follow-up calls made by Pastor Joe and the ministers after the live
broadcasts had ended. These weekly broadcasts are still ongoing up to 2024.
lel Live, weekly ministrations on YouTube ale ongoing and enabled PHM to reach the
world, ministering to those needing spiritual upliftment. The viewers and listeners
were able to raise questions about any particular matter, with Pastor Joe taking
lime to minister to them, using the word of God.

{fj Radio programmes are ongoing and exposed PHM in the areas of evangelism.
Igl The PHM branch in Newcastle which started in November 2016 is sts'll ongoing.
{h) The PHM branch in Manchester which started in December 2016 is still ongoing.
The PHM branch which stsrted in Abuja, Nigeria in January 2017 is still ongoing.
') The PHM branch in Luton which opened its doors in February 2017 is still ongoing.
(k) The PHM branch in Gloucester, which started in 2019, is still ongoing.
Pastor Joe and the ministers continued to have daily outreach programmes
throughout the year.
(m) The overseas. ministry partnerships continued with our ministers in Kolkata, New
Delhi, India., Nairobi, Kenya" Cape Town, South Africa., Lagos and Ibadan, Nigeria,"
Kingston, Jamaica., Manila, Philippines and Ontario, Canada.
(nl The Prison Ministry started by PHM in the year 2017 is still ongoing.
{0) The Social Media section on the PHM Website {which includes YouTube,
Soundcloud, X (formerly Twitter} and Facebook} had over 1,000 PHM ministrations,
which continued to be used as a point of contsct for reaching out to the world, to
hear the Word of God for spiritual uplifting and guidance. New PHM ministrations
are regularly being uploaded to the Social Media section.
(p) The PHM website also contained a Guest Page where visitors could leave
comments or raise any topics, whereby they needed spiritual clarity and guidance.
Using the Word of God, Pastor Joe and the ministers ministered lo those in need
of edification and this is still ongoing.
Iql Pastor Joe and Ihe rninislers regularly visited and prayed for those (i} suffering Wlth
illnesses (whether homebound or nol}, lill needing spiritual upliftment,. and lili}
needing encouragement, plus any other needs, whether at home or in hospital.
PHM worked towards having their songs, which theywere endowed to write, being
made accessible to the world for both listening and enjoyment for spiritual uplifting.
This is ongoing.

Isl Despite COVID-19 having had a huge impact on PHM'S ¢hurch aetivities and
finances during the start of the pandemic and up-to-date in 2024, PHM were still
able to propagate the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Global Reach
PHM began collecting data via WIX {a secure websile) in 2020 during the COVID-19
pandemie, of those visiting the PHM website. WIX is a website thal records and provides
a breakdown of activities from countries across the world, where individuals visit and
engage with the material contained within the PHM website, Individuals are also able to
send emails via the website, whereby Pastor Joe and the ministers respond accordingly,
whether by return of email or by telephone.
The data collected for the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021 showed that the countries
who mostly visited the website were India, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Canada, and
Germany, w1th the highest engagement from the United Kingdom followed by the United
States of America (see Appendix 1).

For the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 during the COVID-19 recovery period, the
countries who frequently visited the website were Canada, China, GetTnany, India.
Kenya. Netherlands, Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United Slates of
America (see Appendix2). This represented more activity from China and the
Netherlands, demonstrating PHM'S global reach.
For the period 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 the counlries who frequently visited the
website were Canada, Germany, India, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa, with the United
Kingdom and the United Stales of America having prominence (see Appendix 31.
See Appendix 4 for the current data up lo MaTch 2024. Most of PHM'S global reach were
to countries such as the United Kingdom. the United States of America, Canada, China
India, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.

Conclusion
To conclude, PHM has undertaken significant activity Ihis last year, demonstrating its
commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
