**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME BY THE PROVISION FOR SUCH PEOPLE OF FACILITIES, SERVICES AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT WILL MAXIMISE THEIR PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY AND ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** We offer and provide - advice and help to parents and carers - opportunities to meet other families with get-togethers, drop-ins and play meetings - a variety of social events and activities for all ages, such as parties, music, art and dance workshops and sporting events - regular conferences on all matters concerned with DS - newsletter. We raise the profile of the needs of people with DS.

**Area of benefit:** NORTH EAST ENGLAND AS COMPRISING THE COUNTIES OF NORTHUMBERLAND AND DURHAM AND THE ADMINISRATIVE AREAS OF TYNE & WEAR AND TEESIDE.
