1,The relief of sickness and preservation and protection of good health in the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) area, trained by NWAS to respond locally in advance of a ambulance operating in our local area and with our trackiing system anywhere in the NWAS area.2,To advance the education of the public with training of first aid with basic life saving skills working with BHF Heartstart .

Objects: (1) The Relief Of Sickness Of Persons Residing In Appleby And The Surrounding Area, Hereafter. Referred To As The Area Of Benefit, In Particular But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing, By Responding To Cardio-Vascular Emergencies. (2) In Relation To C (1) Above, The Advancement Of Education By Initial Ongoing Training Of First Responders To Respond As Instructed By The North West Ambulance NHS Trust Hereafter Referred To As "The Trust" During And Emergency. Education And Training In Basic Life Skills To Members Of The Public Through The Heartstart Programme Which Is At Present Supported By The British Heart Foundation (Bhf) And "The Trust".
