Report of the Charity Trustees for Park Evangelical Church

The aim of the Church is to worship and serve God. We preach Jesus Christ as crucified, risen and Lord; seek to build up Christians in their knowledge and love of him; endeavour to make him known to others and try to share his love in practical ways.

Activities of the Church during 2021 have included Sunday services, Sunday school, Bible study and prayer, care work, evangelism, home groups, missionary support, a mums and toddlers group, youth clubs and social events to which friends and colleagues can be invited.

A new venture has been the starting of Hope Church in the Trent Vale area of Stoke on Trent led by one of our pastors.

The church supports local organisations working with ex-offenders and addicts. Additionally, the church building is available for use by local residents and organisations.

Continued renovation work to the church building has been undertaken, subject to the requirements of the local planning department.

The Church congregation has continued to be supportive of the local Food Bank in Stoke on Trent.
