**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS RESIDENT IN MERSEYSIDE AND ADJACENT AREAS, WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE;TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, OTHER STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND ASYLUM SEEKERS IN ORDER TO ASSIST THEIR INCLUSION INTO THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** We work mainly from our centre in Edge Hill, close areas where Asylum Seekers are housed and are best described as providing general assistance, specialising in help for the homeless. We work with approximately 3000 individuals a year, 250 of whom are registered with us destitute. The centre functions as a community centre, providing the safe space needed by Asylum Seekers to meet and relax.
