**Activities:** Friends of Hounslow Portage (FOHP) aim to promote awareness of the Hounslow Portage Service and to cover additional expenses. Hounslow Portage Service offer ealy intervention for pre-school children with special needs and their families. A portage team of home visitors offers a carefully structured but flexible programme to help parents become effective teachers of their own children.
