Activities
The Gleadless Valley Wildlife Trust is a local voluntary group working to care for and improve the green spaces of Gleadless Valley in Sheffield for the benefit of wildlife and people. We particularly concentrate our efforts towards the woodlands and larger green spaces in the valley.
Objects: To Promote The Conservation, Protection, Improvement, Creation, Maintenance And Study For The Public, Of Places And Objects Of Ornithological, Entomological, Botanical, Zoological, Geological, Archaeological Or Scientific Interest Of Natural Beauty In The Gleadless Valley Area Of The City Of Sheffield (The Area Of Benefit); To Promote The Education Of The Public In Environmental Matters, Especially In The Principle And Practice Of Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of Flora And Fauna And Wildlife; To Promote The Improvement And Enhancement Of Wildlife Habitats In The Area Of Benefit.
