St Agnes Museum Trust
AGM, 27[th] . February 2025
Financial Report
2024 proved to be a very successful year for the Museum, with shop sales increasing by 25% and donations by 32%. The attendance figures for the year were well up on last year.
Following the audit, the auditor identified a difference to the published figures. There was interest of £271.31 received during October that was not included in the accounts.
When this figure was included, the excess of income over expenditure amounted to £3359.92.
The cash balances as at 30[th] November were as follows
Bank Current Account £1853.25 Bank Deposit Account £39480.91 Cash £20.00 Total £41354.16
This access has already been spent with alterations to Peters Room (£980) and Repairs to the roof (£2400)
As most of you may be aware, The Museum is acquiring the freehold of the building, and this has resulted in increased insurance cost for the building and Trustee Insurance which will amount to an extra £2500 per annum.
This is exciting times for the Museum, and I hope that we can rely on your support in the future.
