Introduction
Archange Lebrun Trust is a non-profit Charity Organisation founded in 2002 whose main objectives
are care, education. relief of poverty, and ei'angelization within the Roinaii Catholic tradition
worldwide, particularly of the mosi deprived people. Following the goal of this Charity. the trustees
strive lo help the poor, the mosl iwlnerdbl¢ persons particularly women and children Ihrough the
work ot the sisters in the different Are&s of the Congregation. The charity continued lo support the
congregation's work by providing financial .gupport lo the Generalate in Rome, Cainerooii Area,
Tanzania Area, Argentina Area, at)d Haiti.

During the year. several significant activities w-ere undertakeii. Sei'en sister5 from Africa came to the
Geiieralate tor a period of one rnonth in preparation for their tiiial professioii. To contiiiue w'ith the
organisation and enhancement of the prole5sioiialisrn of the archives, a specialised coinpany was
engaged on a part-time b&sis to support and develop the archival work. The Congregation also
appointed a communications Director to continue Strengthening internal and external
¢ommuni¢ations.
In addition, the Congregation ¢ontinues to support advan¢¢d studies in Canon Law by sponsoring Sr
Josiane Nkem al Saint Paul Universily Oitawa Canada.

1.3. Student Sister in Canada: ALT is sponsoring Sr J05iane Nkcm ot St Paul
University Otlawa for Doctorate Degree in Canon Otlawa since August 2025. Although there dre a
fcw struclurcd courscs. thc program is primarily research-based. requiriiig long hours of rcading and
writing. Much of her time is spcnt in the library. whcrc shc

proposal. She has been assigned a supervisor who has
already begun guiding her with clarity and encouragement.

Argentina is a country rich in cultural diversity and historical heritage. shaped by a blend of
IndigFenous traditions and strong European influences. particularly from Spdin dnd Itdly. This uniquc
cultural heritage is retlected in its language, cuisine. Inusic. and social custoins. Argentine culture
places great value on t￿llY life. coininunity relationships, and hospitality. Our sisters in Arg¢ntiiid
numbers seven. They haN'e limiled incoine, bul they have greal involvement in the mission of the
Congregation.

guidunLe, making it necessary lo restart certain steps.
Before proleeding with the cremations. it was nece55ary 10
update the oificial recordb. of the deceased sisters. The 65
coffins intended for cremation were not listed in the
Conccs5ion Title and Ihereforc requircd fomial inclusion
and authorization. Only in March 2025 were all requirements in place to begin the procedure
properly.
Given the signiticant costs involve(L the cremations were organized inlo two phases.. the first
comprising thirty-five coffins, followed by a second phase of thirty.

Background
Due to the ongoing socio-political crisis in Cameroon, the Pre-Novitiate House located in Baba I,
Ndop, in the North West Region, had to be relocated. The persistent insecurity, frequenl gunshots,
and general instability in the region made it increasingly difficult to continue the forniation program
in a safe and peaceful environinent.
The unstable situaiioii iii the North West Region sei'erely affected ihe fomiation S￿dy, cominunity
life, and personal growth-essenlial elements ofihe pre-novitiaie formaiion.
As a result, the pre-novices were moN'ed from Baba I for safety reasons. However, there was no
immediately suitable or well-prepared.qtrnclure available io accoiiimodaie them.
Over the years, Ihe pre-novices have siayed in various ￿MpOrnry struclures. Uiiforlunately, these
places were noi adequaiely equipped or conducive lor a proper forn]aiion process. The frequeiit
relocations and lack of stsbilily rrf)sed additional challenges to l)oih the fomiators aiid ihe candidates.
Despite these di￿]culties, the formaiion progrdm continued with resilience and coniiniiinenl, though
not without sacrifices.
