| We summarise our main activities below. | |
| Speaking engagements. From April 2022 to March2023 PG, SL and MP gave around 30 talks, lectures and seminars. Some of these were delivered online but most were in-person meetings, including church |
|
| services, public meetings, training seminars, conferences,and youth | |
| events. In April, PG gave an onlinelecture about his geological research to students at Truett McConnell University in Georgia, USA, and in |
|
| September,PG and SL spoke to more than 100 students and young people at a summer school in Staffordshire. In December, PG gave a live-streamed lecture and Q&A session aboutthe Dutch translation of his |
|
| book forthe publisher in the Netherlands. | |
| Online outreach and media. By the end of the reporting period our |
|
| YouTubechannel had almost 600 subscribersand our Facebook page almost 800 followers. We also maintained an active social media |
|
| presence on Twitter.The audience for our fortnightly podcast, co-hosted by PG and Dr ToddWood, continued to grow. By March 2023, we had |
|
| released 55 episodes and had gained about 1,600 subscribers on | |
| YouTube,as well as hundreds more on other streaming platforms. PG | |
| was interviewed on a couple of other podcasts and also featured in an | |
| educational video aboutan ice age site near St Louis, Missouri. We continued to communicate regularly with supporters byway of a newsletter issued threetimes a year alongsidea monthly email update |

| Research. V\MIcontinued to receive supportfrom our organisation for his work on a quantitativegeophysics project, and a fourth paperbased on his research was completed and submitted for expert peer review. PG |

| continued to work with colleagues and students on two research projects, | |
| onecomparing the order of branching in published phylogenies with the | |
| order offossil appearances, the other a quantitative analysis of a large | |
| geochronological database. PG and served as expert reviewers for |
|
| a number of other abstracts, papers and research proposals throughout the year. |
|
| Other activities. Editorial workcontinued on submissions to our own |
|
| open-access online journal withthe foufth volume being published in | |
| November2022. We also contributed articles to other publications. PG's | |
| latest book wastranslated into Dutch and published in the Netherlands in | |
| November 2022. Both PG and SL continued to work on other ongoing | |
| book projects. We also continued to supportstudents in a mentoring | |
| capacity. |
