Respectlve responsibilities The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The

Basls of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the
examlner's statement Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records
kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records,
It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence thal would be required in an
audit, and consequently no opinion is given as lo whether the accounts present a
'twe and fai¢ view and the report is limited lo those matlers set out in the statement
below.

PALMS (prevlously known as PALS) were able to support the school In many ways with the proceeds
from various fundraising activities, including the very popular Christmas and Summer Falrs, discos and
cookie days. They also made generous contributions towards the cost of two different shows by a
travelllng theatre company and continued to support every year group with a donatlon of £200 each
towards their chosen educational day trips.
The annual Food Fayre ralsed almost £500 with most of the food running out within the first hourl The
money was again shared between the various pupil groups to spend in 2024/25, The proceeds allocated
from the Food Fayre at the end of the 2022123 academic year were spent on many different resources,
Including a subscription to an EAL package, sports equipment, and a variety of sensory toys and gadgets
for the regulation statlons.
The School Councll held two dressing up days raising enough money to purchase a whole new class set
of headphones for the ICT room and to replenish the resources for varlous different subject areas.
Children in Years 3-6 all had the opportunity to take part in a residential trip of at least one night and
uptake was high, Children who are eligible for Pupil Premium received a 25% reduction on the cost of
their visit and dates have already been booked for the next academic year. Children in Year 2 were able
to spend the night camping on the school field as part of their Night Under the St3r5.
Charity events supported thls year included Jeans for Genes, Sport Relief, Children in Need and Dress
for Dinners lin aid of St Mark's Meals). Donations for Children in Need and Sport Relief could be made
via ParentPay accounts meaning that Gift Aid could be added and more money went straight to the
charities.
Children in all year groups continued to access various different extra-curricular clubs including parkour,
football, yoga, judo, basketball and many more. The members of the Jazz Hands choir had an amazing
time taking part In the Young Voices event at the 02 in London with hundreds of other children from
around the country.
The School Fund 5UPPOrted the purchase of many items and services throughout the year such a5
sensory plants around the school grounds, litter pickers for the Junior NAG5, the painting of murals in
the corridors and the cost of ingredients for cooking activities in various year groups,
