Established under a charitable tnt deed dated 20 October 2002 Trustee's Report This trust was established ts) provide cultural and social activities for ethnic minority youth who would otherwise not I able to access such opportunities any other way. Youth Start has successfully initiated a Vlety of social activities which has been well attended and has met much success. The activities are primaiily geared to teenagers, however where appropriate, outreach work has been undertaken to include the local community. Independent Examinds Report to the Trustees of Youthstart For the year ended 31 December 2013 We report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2023, which are set out on pages 5 to 6. You coThsideT that the audit requirements of Section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 do not apply. It is my responsibility ID State on the basis of the procedures specified in the General Directtons given by the charity commissioners under Section 145(5)(b) of the Act whether parttcular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiners report- My examination was carried out in accordan with the General Directions given the Charity Commi&sioners. examination indudes a review of the accounting Tecords kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanation from you as trustees concerning any such matter. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would require an audit and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent examiners statement- In connection with my examination, no matler has come to my attention: Which gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 130 of the Act and; to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the ACL have not been met, or b) 2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts reached.
