Following funding from UK Govemmenl Communty Regeneration Fund, EVI ieceNed £250,918 from Shared Prosperity Fund. This fund ha5 ensured employment of key staff in EVI and delivery of community based activitie5 such as The Food Pantry. Developments have surpassed expectation and been led by the invofvemenl of the cornmunilies surrounding EVI. Key evaluation reports from this project, together with the great work. community involvement and interest from UK, Wales and Blaenau Gwenl local and national Governments has led lo fvrther suc$$ful bids lo the UK Shared Prosperity Funds in Blaenau Gwenl. The minimum amount lo be designated as Operating Reserve will be establishèd in an amount sufficient lo maintain ongoing operations and programmes for a sel period of time.
