TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SOUTHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.2.  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN CHINESE ART, CULTURE AND TRADITIONS.

**Activities:** Services to the community:Information, Advice, Interpreting / Visiting, Victim support service, Networking with statutory and voluntary agencies.We hold weekly drop in sessions and monthly mass programmes, in the area of helping the elderly and their carers.  We organise regular outing and festival celebration to the members.
