British Friends of Kollel Nefesh Hachaim, 37 Holmfield Avenue, London NW4 2LP is registered with the Charity Commissioners (No 1094200) and constituted by Deed of Trust.

The charity trustees during the year were:

Joshua Kraushar Michael Harvey Manson Daniel Levy

Power of appointing new trustees is vested jointly by the trustees.

Systems have been implemented to mitigate major risks that the charity may be exposed to.

The objects of the charity are the advancement of orthodox Jewish education and religion and the relief of poverty.

The trustees confirm that they have given due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

Funds are raised during the year and distributed whenever sufficient amounts have been accumulated, subject to maintaining sufficient resources to continue the activities of the charity.

During the year of grants paid to charitable institutions amounted to £61,367, an increase of 3% over the previous year.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF BRITISH FRIENDS OF KOLLEL NEFESH HACHAIM Charity Commission Number 1094200

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (the Trust) for the year ended 31 December 2021, which are set out on the attached pages.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no particular matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in any material respect:

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
