Activities

Starfish provides crisis intervention and holistic care services for children made vulnerable and orphaned by HIV/AIDS in southern Africa. We also provide training for local partners and volunteer caregivers to enable them to deliver better quality care to more children.

Objects: (1) The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And Distress;(2) The Preservation And Protection Of Health;(3) The Advancement Of Education; And(4) The Provision Of Facilities For The Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation Of Persons Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life;and In Particular, But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing, For The Benefit Of Children And Young Persons In South Africa.
