‑ ‑ The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis, recording income when received and expenditure when paid. All transactions relate to the club’s HSBC account. 

The opening bank balance for the year was £2,409.29.

Total income for the year amounted to £30,003.28, comprising:

The trustees are responsible for preparing accounts that give a fair reflection of the charity’s financial position and ensuring compliance with the Charities Act 2011.

My responsibility is to review the accounts in accordance with Charity Commission regulations for independent examination. The review includes making enquiries of the trustees and examining the accounting records kept by the charity. 

## **3. Basis of the Review** 

The review was carried out by examining the charity’s accounting records and comparing them with the accounts presented. Appropriate enquiries were made of the trustees to confirm consistency and accuracy. 

## **4. Independent Examiner’s Statement** 

In my opinion, based on my review, no matter has come to my attention that suggests the accounts do not give a fair summary of the charity’s financial position for the year ended 31 May 2024.
