**Objects:** THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE SOCIETY IS ESTABLISHED ARE TO FACILITATE THE ACQUISITION AND  DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF ANTIMICROBIAL CHEMOTHERAPY.

**Activities:** The society undertakes a range of activities to facilitate the acquisitiion and dissemination of knowledge in the field of antimicrobial chemotherapy. These activities include funding research, awarding grants, organising educational meeting, events and e-learning, service standards, publishing peer review journals, advising external bodies and collaborating with likewise organisations globally.
