Para 1.20 | Despite the challenges of COVID, The Friends has worked hard to continue supporting The School and its wider community. Key achievements this year include: Raising over £60k (including £50k from specific fundraising campaigns and £10k from an online auction) Making grants of nearly £60k to The School for a range of projects (including £25k for laptops to support home learning, £15k for the new astroturf pitch and £14k for the new bicycle shed for staff and pupils). Setting up WhatsApp groups for each year group’s parents and carers. |

Para 1.21 | At the year end, the Charity had a bank balance of over £46k. There were no other assets or liabilities £19k of this cash balance were restricted funds for six campaigns (the largest being £4,220 for a new music room) £8k of this cash balance were designated funds for four campaigns (the largest being £2,500 for the ‘Striding Man’ statue) £20k of this cash balance were unrestricted funds, although the trustees’ intention is to use c£4k to top up the music room fund so The School can proceed with this work during the October half term. |

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2021 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention ~~(other than that disclosed below *)~~ in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
