Financial Review

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	At the year end, the Charity had a bank balance of over £46k. There were no other assets or liabilities £19k of this cash balance were restricted funds for six campaigns (the largest being £4,220 for a new music room) £8k of this cash balance were designated funds for four campaigns (the largest being £2,500 for the ‘Striding Man’ statue) £20k of this cash balance were unrestricted funds, although the trustees’ intention is to use c£4k to top up the music room fund so The School can proceed with this work during the October half term.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2021 .

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
