Plans for futurè periods
We anticipate Ihat we will be doing far less of these feeding missions in 2024 as the Impact from the
Covid pandemic abates. and life relums to nomtslity. Howover, there are still areas wherè thè
estsblished famlne still Impacts on the indigenous population. so we have not entirely ruled out offerlng
occasional halp in these areas.
We have been asked by Ihe local aulhorities to mount eye rnr3sions to varfous remote outposts in Kenya
and w8 are antlclpating carrying out at least four eye missions during 2024 and are planning trips to
Elburgon, Walir. Mandera 2nd Moyalè, It can b8 expecled that we wlll b8 able to Garry out a total of
be￿8£n 800 and 900 ¢alaract operatK>ns during th8se trips.
Itls anticipated that MEAK will continue to support the prlmary school in Ndaragwa. Our collaborators,
The March to the Top Foundation. have also invested sponsorshlp In this praiseworthy establlshment
funding direct to the school,1 the building of a new dassroom built In stone, and also committing to the
construction of a new kitchen and dining hall. Slmilarly, MEAK proposes to build further stone

following the MEAK fund8d borehola thal wag insta118d In 2023 and we are 811 keen to see the
Improvements continue.
Regrettably the project to provlde a new heart and lung pump to Coast Provlnclal General Hospital is
likely lo fail, as our group of sponsors have been unable to secure sufficient pledges to allow us to
