## **ALMA JEAN HENRY CHARITABLE TRUST ANNUAL REPORT 2021-22** During the year the Charity awarded grants to the following organisations: West London Mission Kent Autistic Trust Healthy Living Projects Off the Fence Pecan Helping Disabilities Embrace Group Hug Myaware BCL Bright Beginnings Barnabus Hope Community Village Maggs Day Centre The charitable projects undertaken by these organisations related predominantly to homeless accommodation, relief for poor families related to Covid-19 and educational projects for disadvantaged or vulnerable individuals. A special one-off grant for the purchase of medical supplies was made via the Pan American Health Organisation to support the government of Trinidad and Tobago effort to fight against Covid-19 in that country. Trinidad and Tobago is the birthplace of the Charity’s benefactress, Alma Jean Henry. It is the intention of the Trustees to continue to meet the Charities’ objectives by making grants to other charitable organisations that are undertaking projects which align most closely with the Charity’s criteria.
