the festival working committee. After a meeting with the applicant and at least two of the

Report of the Independent Examlner to the Trustees of the charltable company on the
accounts tor the year ended 30 September 2024
I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of the charitable
company on pages 9-16 for the year ended 30 September 2024 which have been prepared in
accordance with the Charities Art 2011 (the Act) and with the Financlal Reporting Standard
102, (effecttve 1st January 2016) as modifled by FRS 102 SORP (Statement of Recommended
Practice for Accountin8 and Reporting by Charities) 2015. (as amended by the Bulletin issued in
February 2016). (The SORP). published by the Charlty Cornmission in England & Wales (CCEW) .
and under the historical cost convention and the accountin8 policies set out on page IL

The trustees. who are also the directors of the company for the purposes of company law. are
responslble for the preparation of the financial statements. The charl￿S trustees consider that
an audit is not required for thls year under Section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities
Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions glven by the Charity
Commission. An examination Includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charitable
company and of the financial statements presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the financial ststements. and seeklng
explanations from the Trustees. concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do
not provide all the evldence that would be requlred in an audit. and consequently no oplnlon Is
