## **THE NEW LIFE INTERNATIONAL MISSION THE CHAIR'S REPORT**

The year 2022 was one of expansion in all areas of the The New Life International Mission (TNLIM) ministry . The theme for the year was Reaping and Harvesting which continued from 2021. In 2022, we experienced growth in evangelism, community involvement, collaboration with local, national and international ministries and churches, and a rise in donations to needy individuals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and disaster relief funds. Collaboration with The Evangelical Alliance, Together for the Harvest (TFH) and Liverpool Ministers’ Association (LMA) grew stronger.

TNLIM has become more involved with community welfare, fostering a partnership with Methodist Church and Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to help with debt advice to members of the Granby community who are facing debt issues.

The weekly services of TNLIM have continued steadily with active participation from members of TNLIM. In 2022, TNLIM welcomed new families and individual members. The Youth ministry of TNLIM has experienced a boost not only in numerical growth but also in creativity and innovation.

Trustees of TNLIM have demonstrated a high degree of commitment to its cause, satisfying legal obligations with integrity. The trustees have served diligently and selflessly. Prudence and accountability have characterised the handling TNLIM’s accounts and funds received have been utilised judiciously within the context of TNLIM’s goals and objectives.

In order to enhance involvement in voluntary work by members of TNLIM, future seminars are planned. It is anticipated that these seminars would lead to an increase in the awareness of and participation in effective volunteering.

The level of giving rose in 2022, with God enabling the charity to undertake necessary repairs and renovation of Glory House, the church building. Support for the homeless and vulnerable both home and abroad grew in 2022 and the trend is set to continue in the forthcoming weeks and months.

The involvement of TNLIM in the monthly Granby market has had a significantly positive effect in the community, with a considerable number of visitors posting prayer requests. Much appreciation has been shown for the tea and coffee served at Glory House during the Granby market days.

The church meetings have continued in dual mode - face to face and virtually. The Zoom meetings have attracted visitors residing outside Liverpool, in and outside the United Kingdom. The ministry of TNLIM transcends local boundaries and has extended to other communities and individuals, nationally and internationally.

Practical evangelism with Kingdom Impact Vision International (KIVI) has continued and future events are planned. Hopefully, members of TNLIM will have the opportunity and privilege to engage in evangelistic events in other UK cities as a result.

As a Church-based charity, we look forward to continuing our present engagement with other churches, communities and individuals, and we anticipate positive growth in the oncoming year. Evangelism and discipleship leading to transformation of lives remains a key objective of TNLIM. The future of TNLIM is in God’s hands and by His grace, it shall fulfill the purpose for which it has been established in Jesus’ Name.
