I report upon my independent examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act, and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of 2011 Act. My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. ## **Independent Examiner’s statement:** In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements : - a) to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 and section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met; or - b) to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act and section 44(1) (b) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 8 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met ; or - c) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. Accounting Policies** ## **1.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements** The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006. ## **1.2. Turnover** Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances. ## **1.3 Sale of goods** Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods has transferred to the buyer.
