TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE, MANAGEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE MUSEUM AND LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY SITUATE AT BALDOCK IN THE COUNTY OF HERTFORD.2.  TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND INTEREST IN THE HISTORY AND OBJECTS, ARCHIVES AND CULTURE OF THE TOWN OF BALKDOCK AFORESAID AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT AND BY MEANS OF DISPLAYS OF INFORMATION, ARTEFACTS, DISCUSSION, VISITS, LECTURES AND OTHERWISE EXTEND KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOWN, ITS SURROUNDINGS AND HISTORY.

**Activities:** Baldock Museum and Local History Society holds talks every two months on topics relating to the history of Baldock. Funds raised by the Society through its membership are used to support the running of Baldock Museum which features changing displays on aspects of the town's history. The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers.
