TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION, BY MAINTAINING AN ORCHESTRA TO PROVIDE CONCERTS AND MASTER-CLASSES; ANDC.  TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONGST YOUNG MUSICIANS PARTICULARLY BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND BURSARIES.&quot;
