The church council met very often (10 meetings ) last year. Since the vacancy, even monthly, to keep everything up to date even without a pastor. These meetings were mostly via Zoom and the participation was very good. I would like to thank all members for their extra commitment. In 2023, a new pastor was elected and we had a very nice PAB-wide farewell service for Diemut and Olaf. (See pictures) Unfortunately, Mrs. Hunzinger had to postpone her start due to illness. This resulted in an 8-month vacancy period, which will thank God be over from 1.5 2024. The church council has ensured that congregational life has continued to be active during this time. Many thanks go especially to Baerbel, Judith and John Agbenu for the many great services with excellent musical accompaniment by Brigitte and often also by our choir. Thank you also for the monthly children's services of Mary and Christiane. Most of the regular events took place and were also well attended. Good Friday and Easter celebrations, family leisure, Taizé prayers, PAB wide Thanksgiving in Manchester, lantern making and St. Martin's parade, Advent crafts and wreath making, Christmas party, creative handicrafts during Lent, book bazaar and synod-wide events via Zoom were offered. The church council, together with the PAB council, also made the decisions on the modernization of the rectory. The house is now in very nice condition. Many thanks to Stefan and Andrea, who organized and overlooked the construction work. That was a very big achievement and time. Last year, the church council also dealt with the topic of security in the church and safeguarding in the congregation. The latter was also supported by

the Evangelical Synod in Great Britain. There was a garden assignment and another is being planned. Repairs were made to and in the church. On behalf of the church council, I would also like to thank the whole congregation. There is so much support, new ideas and help at the many events. Without you, our church would not continue to exist and grow. Please come to us and tell us what is going on and what can be improved.
