Concern Worldwide (UK) is an international humanitarian organisation specialising in tackling hunger in the world's poorest countries. Our mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives. Working in partnership we help them bring about long-lasting change and realise their basic human rights; to food, health, education and ultimately a life of dignity.
Objects: 4.1 The Objects For Which The Charity Is Established Are: Working Towards The Elimination Of Poverty In The World’s Poorest Countries And Regions And The Relief Of People In Need Of Humanitarian Assistance.4.2 Nothing In These Articles Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And In Relation To The Application Of The Tax Acts As Defined By S831(2) Income And Corporation Taxes Act 1988
