## **Summary of Performance and main Achievements during the year** 

**The Covid19 Pandemic brought with it very many new challenges but in spite of all the challenges the  charity has much to celebrate.** 

***The effective launch of virtual gatherings via Zoom - the charity was able to continue its +Religious Classes  to  children and youths +Adult motivational classes and general +Pastoral Services to adults & families in various UK communities and beyond the borders of the UK. These forums saw a threefold increase in attendance with attendees who reside in the USA, Kenya, Guyana and Barbados.** 

* **Training  -  a training programme consisting of a class of ten members from the charity was specially initiated  to train personnel to manage various  projects/activities of the charity.** 

*** Community Social Event -  at the end of the lockdown   the charity organised a special outdoor event in a London park that saw many families in attendance. The charity adhered strictly to the Covid 19 pandemic guidelines that were in place at the time.**

## _**THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGES TO THIS POLICY**_ 

Any surplus funds after all running costs have been cleared is set aside towards the purchase of premises for the charity and capital for income generating projects, that would further finance the activities of the charity, and in extreme cases, to meet any unforeseen expenditure.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.. 

The directors acknowledge their responsibility for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and for the preparation of accounts. 

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to small companies' regime.

## 1 **ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

## (a) Basis of Accounting 

The Financial Statements are prepared on the historical cost convention and include the results of  the company's operations as indicated in the Director's Report and all of which are continuing. 

The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No. 1 from the requirement to produce a cash-flow statement on the grounds that it is a small company 

## (b) Incoming Resources 

Incoming Resources  comprises the  tithes, offerings and sale of tickets  by the Charity, 

## (c) Depreciation of Tangible Assets 

Depreciation is provided so as to write off the cost of the asset over its estimated useful Life, at the following rate: 

Office Equipment - 20% Motor Vehicle   -  10%
