We are a small village Community hall which is the hub of the village. It reaches out to people within our community of all ages and provides events and activities which significantly increase the hall's usage.
We achieve a wide range of activities including : Warm space meetings, Community lunch clubs, which particularly help with social isolation, Bingo, Curry nights, Wreath making, Beetle Drives, Christmas Fayre, Summer hog roasts, Keep Fit and many more.
Our future goals and objectives are as follows..
To increase accessibility to the hall for all.
Apply for funding to renovate and upkeep the hall to a good standard and make improvements wherever possible. We are currently renovating the old toilets and adding new appliances to the kitchen. Grants have been obtained from the Levelling Up Prosperity Fund. We have also successfully applied for Wi-Fi enabling us to set up new groups silver surfing and quiz nights,
To, potentially increase the events to attract more users with Themed supper nights, Educational talks and Village history nights.
Our Village hall committee has achieved so much in the past years with it's band of dedicated volunteers.
The ambition is to make the village hall the thriving hub of the community and continue to go from strength to strength.
As we look to the future we welcome new members with new ideas to make 2026 even more successful.
