Activities
Preservation of the historic church of St. Peter's, Wootton Wawen and it environs for the benefit of the population at large, recognizing its important historical heritage. Encouraging and assisting in its development for a broader base of more secular activities to enhance its use by a broader section of the population.
Objects: The Trustees Shall Stand Possessed Of The Trust Fund Upon Trust To Apply The Income And Capital Thereof In Such Manner As They Shall In Their Absolute Discretion Think Fit For All Or Any Of The Following Charitable Purposes Namely:a) For The Restoration, Preservation, Repair, Maintenance, Improvement, Beautification And Reconstruction Of The Church Of St Peter's Wootton Wawen ("The Church") In The Diocese Of Coventry And County Of Warwickshire And Of The Monuments Fittings Fixtures Stained Glass Furniture Ornaments And Chattels In The Church And Of The Churchyard Belonging To The Church.b) For The Benefit Of The People Of The Said County Of Warwickshire And The Said Diocese To Preserve Repair Maintain Improve Beautify And Reconstruct The Church As A Building Of Historical Importance Or Architectural Value In The Event Of The Church Being Declared Redundant By A Pastoral Scheme Made Under The Pastoral Measure 1983 (Or Any Statutory Modification Or Re-Enactment Thereof) Or Otherwise Ceasing To Be Used Regularly For Public Worship And The Monuments Fittings Fixtures Stained Glass Furniture Ornaments And Chattels In The Church And The Churchyard Belonging Thereto.c) For The Benefit Of The People Of The Said County Of Warwickshire And In Particular The Parishioners Of Wootton Wawen To To Acquire Hold And Improve Land Close To St Peter's Church In The Interests Of Social Welfare
