No new trustees have been appointed in the last year.

The way that new trustees are appointed is by end identifying and recognising the value of the contribution that particular trustee can bring to the charity. New trustees are generally appointed from individuals who identify and support the charity and its objectives. When suitable trustees are identified they are brought to the attention of the existing trustees and nominated for discussion as potentially suitable trustees. Two members of the existing Board of Trustees will interview them and they will mutually discuss potentially joining the Board

of Trustees. Upon accepting the role of trustee, their acceptance is ratified by the existing Board, upon where they are invited to the following trustees meeting.

All trustees are active and serve sacrificially and voluntarily, which is a wonderful asset to the charity. Outside of trustee’s meetings, the board are in regular communication with each other on matters concerning the charity. Dr Richard Barrett, resigned as trustee in December 2024. Richard got married and moved out of county.

Matthew Redfearn, resigned as trustee in January 2025. Matthew lives in Poland with his family and different opportunities representing themselves to the family that they felt it was now their time to step back from trusteeship. With gratitude we thank both Richard and Matthew for their years of loyal and faithful service.

GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT

The charity is operated under the rules of its declaration of trust adopted 26 July 2001 and amended on 13 March 2002.

Trustees are nominated at a trustee meeting. Approach nominee of interest, interview the nominee. Upon acceptance nominees are offered trustee position. They would then be invited to the next meeting.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The advancement of the Christian religion in accordance with the teaching of evangelism in particular through the provision of classes and opportunities to study.

The relief of poverty of individuals who are in need through the provision and distribution of goods, clothing and services.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit

To Advance the Kingdom of God, to equip and train Christians to fulfil their God given ministry, preach the gospel to support those in need both in UK and abroad.

These activities benefit the public through:

  1. preaching; Making known the message of God's love for all of humanity;

  2. Educating and empowering Christian believers by enabling and releasing Church members to serve their local communities and the world at large;

  3. Bringing relief to the poor by way of practical support to those in need.

WORLD MANDATE MINISTRIES - PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT

The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit, 'Charities and Public Benefit'.

The Trustees consider that through the activities and provision of services by the Charity, the public is greatly benefited by -

Preaching the gospel: - through preaching of the Christian message in Churches and other contexts, individuals are desirous to learn of what is being taught and choose by an act of their free will to respond.

Along with explaining the full message of Christianity, there is practical evidence of the constructive and positive hope that Christians have, through our Bible school, missions, visits by staff members, teaching, preaching, mentoring and coaching; all of which has a direct and positive impact on the lives of those who receive from the organisation.

This is further evidenced by the fact that individual lives are transformed through the encounter with God and His people who serve and help in practical ways. The ethos of charity is to live out biblical teaching in practical ways whereby individuals feel love, accepted, not discriminated against or marginalised in any way.

Equipping the Saints: - through teaching believers the variety of ways on how to live out their personal faith in ways that make a difference in their local communities and the world at large. This is largely carried out through our Bible School, Every Nation Bible School UK, conferences, preaching and teaching engagements, cross-cultural mission trips, individual and peer mentoring and by our own personal examples in the way in which we live and conduct our lives.

Lives continue to be transformed as individuals that attend the Bible School testify of the personal transformation that takes place in their own lives enabling and empowering them to be even more constructive and practical contributors to their local communities and contexts.

When individuals attend our equipping events, such as conferences, seminars, mentoring and other means, many will often report positive feedback such as, growth in confidence, increase in self-esteem, increased sense of self-worth and the sense of feeling empowered. Such is the empowering that they feel they now have the tools to contribute to use in their communities, society and humanity.

Feeding the poor: - The relief of poverty by the giving of 10% of all income from the general account of the charity.

We continue to be encouraged, humbled and privileged to receive letters, emails and phone calls from individuals who have engaged with staff members through the diversity of ministry that we offer. They testify of the transformation they have experienced through their engagement with World Mandate Ministries staff and the Christian ministry that has been extended to them. The best part of this individual transformation that takes place is that there has been an empowering and releasing of even more confident, strong, entrepreneurial, positive and bold individuals that are now out there in the world at large, making their own contribution to a happier, healthier and more peaceful planet.

Our excellent pastoral team continue to meet with individuals, befriending and supporting them on a one-to-one basis. We regularly hear testimonies of individuals that have been helped to overcome life–controlling challenges. Through spending time with them, support and prayer, we witness individuals break chaotic cycles and re-establish normal and functioning lifestyles. Personal transformation can be a challenge to quantify, nevertheless transformation produces happier, emotionally stable people who become even more fruitful in their area of vocation.

As a faith-based non-denominational Christian charity, we are committed to serving the church and the nations with the spirit of excellence. We seek to serve with honourable servant hood, the spirit of the Beatitudes demonstrating personal integrity and humility for public ministry in serving communities, nations and peoples of the world.

Our vision is to serve the Church and the Nations with the Message of Jesus Christ.

We do this through three specific strands of work

ETHOS

The ethos and culture of World Mandate Ministries is one of care, compassion and respect for all peoples. Where we seek to empathise, educate, empower and enable.

DIVERSITY

We are thrilled to be able to demonstrate racial diversity throughout 26 team members from 11 different ethnic origins and 14 differing streams of Christian churches and fellowships within Christendom, a practical and visual demonstration of interdenominational unity.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Summary of the main achievements during the period of some of the projects we have undertaken:

PREACHING THE GOSPEL - services to the general public

SERVICES TO YOUNG PEOPLE

Our volunteer Youth worker, Vanessa attended the Kings Heath Community fun day, run by local government, schools and local organisations. We were invited to host a stand and distribute information on the next Kids Holiday Club that we would be holding later that year.

The kids Club headed up by Vanessa was a great success. Children were taught from the Bible, there was time for games and learning new songs. At the end of the week the children were invited to be part of the graduation held once a year. As part of their prize giving, they received a gift and a certificate and thoroughly enjoyed the special time for them.

The holiday clubs provide meaningful activities that nurture and inspire children and young people. Parents and guardians always express their appreciation for the positive input into the lives of their children. All our volunteers are DBS

approved giving confidence to both teams and parents that workers are safe and credible in serving their children.

Team members were invited into one of the local schools to host assemblies over two days. The sessions were interactive, through drama and other activities, where children and tutorial staff gratefully received team members with an open invitation to return.

ENBS Youth

Two Kids Holiday Clubs were held. Vanessa and her fantastic team created an activity-based theme centred around the body, soul and spirit focusing on building self-esteem to help better manage godly social relationships whilst providing opportunities to raise leaders. A prize giving service was held on the Sunday hosted by Maranatha Gathering.

Comments from Vanessa: "It was my absolute pleasure to be able to serve in the holiday club this year. Following feedback from last year the theme Body, Soul and Spirit was used. The material was delivered to a high standard coupled with lots of fun activities. I am so proud of all the children for their hard work and participation. From them, we witnessed leadership skills, grown confidence, friendship and entrepreneurship. We are grateful for the support of the parents and leaders who played a part in enabling this to happen".

School visits

ENBS UK have been invited to work alongside Kings Heath Academy to deliver aspects of the Religious Education programme from a Judeo-Christian perspective. This is an exciting opportunity to share our faith with children (of different ages) and impart the Truth of God’s Word. We will also be facilitating school visits to our Biblical Resource Centre as well as attending School assemblies to share on the 11[th] /12[th] December 2024 and 2[nd] /3[rd] April 2025.

SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY

We continued to visit residential homes, Burlington House, Nazareth House, and Apollo House. A small team of people visit each home on a monthly basis hosting a short worship service and praying with staff and residents. They are always invited to stay for tea and biscuits afterwards. These events are usually followed by requests to go back and hold Easter and Christmas services and the team is often referred to other homes. We find that the seniors love to sing the hymns and have their Bibles read to them and receive prayer.

A tremendous relationship of respect and trust has been built between the team, staff and residents. This has led to, that in addition to the services that are held in the public space within the residential home; team members are invited by the residents to visit them in their own rooms for private and personal prayer.

Rev Baron has been specifically requested and privileged to minister to those who are in End of Life Care.

FEEDING THE POOR - International mission

Uganda

World Mandate Ministries, through the kind and generous donations of supporter’s sponsor 10 children through school in Uganda. We regularly receive letters from the children firstly expressing their humble gratitude for the kindness of strangers in helping them through their formative years in school. We are also provided with reports that detail the progress that children are making. Both letters and reports are forwarded to donors, encouraging them in their love and prayers for the children but also demonstrating how their hardier finances are being used.

Jamaica

World Mandate Ministries, continues to financially support a small family of grandmother and her two grandsons. The family receive no income, with the grandmother being a lupus patient and the two young boys abandoned by their parents. We financially support the grandmother who has lupus in paying for her medical needs, doctors’ appointments and treatment. We finance the boys’ school uniforms, books and extra educational requirements. Whilst education in Jamaica is free as well as compulsory, parents and guardians are responsible to finance supplementary costs like uniforms, books, stationery, transportation, meals, sports equipment and uniforms and other auxiliary fees. Periodic visits are made to the family as part of our pastoral care towards them. They are extremely grateful for the visits and even more grateful for the financial assistance they receive

Mission to Kenya

We led a team of 10 people to Utange, Kenya between 10th – 21st October 2024. This evangelistic mission was delivered in collaboration with Paul and Debbie Robinson who run the Utange Orphanage, 500 Club, Celebration High School and Bible School in Kenya. Roofs

Following the devastation of hurricane Beryl in June 2024 that annihilated thousands of homes in Jamaica. We were able to finance the re-roofing of the seven homes in the parish of Saint Elizabeth. All the families assisted vulnerable members, namely babies, children and elderly. The homes that were re-roofed were in the districts of, Southfield (2), Sandy bank (1), Barbary Hall (1), old wharf (2).

Student Graduation

The Student Graduation and Commissioning Service took place on Saturday 7th September at St. Giles Church, Northampton where 47 students graduated from the UK, Poland and Jamaica.

This event involved a heartfelt greeting from Elaine and an inspirational address from Rev. Phyllis Thompson, a Pentecostal educator and ordained minister at New Testament Church of God. Here are extracts of comments made by Rev. Phyllis Thompson: “It was a privileged opportunity to attend and contribute to the ENBS, UK Graduation & Commissioning Service. The … programme … displayed the depth of spirituality, strong conviction and clear vision of Rev. Selina Forde and her team in their effort to enable their students to grow and develop as authentic disciples of Christ.

The ‘Class of 2023-24 Graduates’ revealed the success of ENBS aims and goals through their testimonies. It was heartening to hear them speak about the impact of the college on their lives in the private and public arena…The spiritual growth of the students who graduated was evident. The outcomes they shared about the impact of their learning on their lifestyle and their practice of ministry was extremely moving. They gave us cause for celebration with gratitude, praise, and honour to the Lord for the mission and ministry of ENBS…”

Biblical Resource Centre

We are hosts to possibly the largest Christian biblical resource centre in the county, with in excess of 4000 books covering a range of genres from doctrine, theology to Christian living, prayer, and teaching. We constantly review processes and introduce systems to allow those who utilise the library to easily access the books.

NCFE Inspections

Each year ENBS is inspected and examined twice by an external and independent assessor. The inspections are in two parts. The first part is the examination and reviews of all of our management systems and protocols. The second part is examining the quality of our marking of student assignments, to ensure that work is marked proficiently ensuring that students receive their qualifications with accuracy and equity.

We were thrilled once again to receive an “Excellent” rating of the quality of our schemes of work, assignment and marking protocols. Furthermore, we received a “low risk” rating for the management inspection known as the Annual Monitoring Review . The “low risk” rating means that we have met all 24 criteria and NCFE have no concerns. With these endorsements from NCFE,

they have also chosen ENBS UK as an exemplar Centre for other educational centres.

Marketing and Promotion of ENBS

ENBS Open Day – ENBS held two open days consisting of 2 x 2-hour slots 10.30am-12.30pm or 7-9pm sessions, in person and via zoom as before. As a result, a number of students signed up and showed an interest in the courses. ENBS Website – the ENBS website has now been launched. Key personnel have received awareness training and are looking to make updates in the coming weeks.

A Microsoft 365 Migration of all old files and email accounts took place in August.

GENERAL

Challenges

A major challenge that impacted the UK office significantly, was the CEO’s home in Jamaica being destroyed by the hurricane of July 2024. Communications infrastructure was down for some months, severely hampering efficient communication and work being implemented and completed. Following this major incident, the mother of our CEO was taken ill for an extended period of time, whereupon the CEO was absent to fulfil a duty of care. This further impacted the availability, accessibility and workload that the CEO was able to carry, implement and complete. Support was given from the UK office.

Financial review

We continue to take steps to increase our donor base and increase our student uptake on the Bible School. We recognise that funding across the charity world has diminished in the light of in recent years of constant cost of living increases. We publicly note all and express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who continue to financially support and invest in the work of World Mandate Ministries. The charity's policy on reserves we aim to hold 6-9 months' running costs in reserves.

Future

The team has been working exceptionally hard creating and develop a fully automated online platform whereby individuals that wish to unroll on the variety of courses that we offer can do so online. This will be rolled out to accommodate international students, allowing students from across the world to enrol on a specific course, they will receive all information relevant to that course, be able to commence the course, submit assignments, received marked

assignments and their qualification certificate. We see this as a tremendous step forward, enabling greater accessibility and extending the reach of ENBS globally.

Evangelist Roundtable – Working throughout Northamptonshire and beyond as tams. go out to share the gospel with local Churches. Mission to Kenya – Working with local orphanage, school, Bible School, Churches and working with a feeding programme. Every Nation Bible School – School holidays Club, fun, practical and Biblical education, Elderly Home visits.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of World Mandate Ministries (the charity) for the year ended 31 August 2025.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner’s statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or

  2. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
