## **OBJECTIVES**

World Mandate Ministries exists as a registered charity. The objectives are: -

- 1) The advancement of the Christian religion in accordance with the teaching of evangelism, in particular through the provision of classes and opportunities to study the Bible.

- 2) The relief of poverty of individuals who are in need through the provision and distribution of goods, clothing and other services.

## **HOW OUR ACTIVITIES DELIVER PUBLIC BENEFIT**

The charity objectives have been broken down into three headings: -

- Preaching the Gospel

- Equipping the Saints

- Feeding the Poor

The Trustees consider that through the activities and provision of services by the Charity, the public is greatly benefited by -

- **Preaching the gospel:** - through preaching of the Christian message in Churches and other settings, where there are individuals who are desirous to learn of what is being taught and choosing by an act of their free will to respond.

   - Along with explaining the full message of Christianity, there is practical evidence of the

   - constructive and positive hope that Christians have, through our Bible school, missions, visits by staff members, teaching, preaching, mentoring and coaching; all of which has a direct and positive impact on the lives of those who receive from the organisation.

   - This is further evidenced by the fact that individual lives are transformed through the encounter with God and His people who serve and help in practical ways.

- **Equipping the Saints:** - through teaching believers the variety of ways on how to live out their personal faith in ways that make a difference in their local communities and the world at large. This is largely carried out through our Bible School, Every Nation by School UK, conferences, preaching and teaching engagements, cross-cultural mission trips, individual and peer mentoring and by our own personal examples in the way in which we live and conduct our lives.

   - Lives continue to be transformed as individuals that attend the Bible School testify of the personal learning that transmutes into areas of constructive and practical contributions to their local communities and to the world at large.

   - When individuals attend our equipping events, such as conferences, seminars, mentoring and

- other means, many will often report positive feedback such as, growth in confidence, increase in

- self-esteem, increased sense of self worth and the sense of feeling empowered. Such is the empowering that they feel they now have the tools to contribute to use in their communities, society and humanity.

- **Feeding the poor:** - The relief of poverty by the giving of 10% of all income from the general account of the charity.

We are humbled and privileged when we receive letters, emails and phone calls from individuals who have engaged with staff members through the diversity of ministry that we offer. They testify of the transformation they have experienced through their engagement with World Mandate Ministries staff and the Christian ministry that has been extended to them. The best part of this individual transformation that takes place is that there has been an empowering and releasing of even more confident, strong, entrepreneurial, positive and bold individuals that are now out there in the world at large, making their own contribution to a happier, healthier and more peaceful planet.

Our excellent pastoral team continue to meet with individuals, befriending and supporting them on a one-to-one basis. We regularly hear testimonies of individuals that have been helped to overcome life–controlling challenges. Through spending time with them, support and prayer, we witness individuals break chaotic cycles and re-establish normal and functioning lifestyles.

Personal transformation can be a challenge to quantify, nevertheless transformation produces happier, emotionally stable people who become even more fruitful in their area of vocation.

## **HOW OUR ACTIVITIES DELIVER PUBLIC BENEFIT cont...**

## **— RELIEF OF THE POOR CHARITY SHOP** was very popular and became a

hub in the community. The shop raised money for charitable donations, supporting orphans through their schooling in both Uganda and Jamaica. The shop was a place where acts of kindness happened on a regular basis, with our volunteers becoming aware of customer needs and they demonstrated nonjudgemental love, care and value of how each person matters.

With listening ears and broad shoulders they offered comfort and support.

The shop was forced to close during the 2020 pandemic as a result of the poor health of the landlord. Being hard to enumerate the impact this amazing little shop had on the community. We would often witness the transformation of lives of individuals - ‘all for the better.’

We are only too aware that the lives of our staff and customers have benefited and been transformed, probably as much as the recipients of the money raised by the shop!

Following the sale of Mandate House in June 2021 the Trustees made the decision to continue to make provision for the relief of the poor and support other charities by way of funds from the property sale. In excess of £50,000.00 was placed into the Tithe Account from which all donations to the poor and others are made. This way we ensured that our vision to keep supporting the poor and need could be maintained until such time we were able to open another charity shop.

**EVERY NATION BIBLE SCHOOL UK** is the predominant way in which we

help Christians at every stage of their faith journey to learn afresh how to live out their faith and practically engage in their communities and their world.

The Bible School continues to receive excellent and outstanding reports from the annual external examiners and inspection team.

We pay particular tribute to our excellent Principal, dedicated hard-working staff and volunteers for these reports.

## **WE SHARE OUR CHRISTIAN HOPE**

As a charity we believe that Jesus Christ is central to all that we do. It is out of that belief that we minister and serve the people that we come into contact with.

We believe that each and every individual person is of intrinsic value and importance to God.

We therefore seek to demonstrate His love and compassion in tangible ways to open hearts to trust God, the source of all goodness.

As a ministry we seek to live in the spirit of the Beatitudes and believe that the principle of honouring every person is important as every person matters to God. We are of the conviction that the spirit of the Beatitudes contributes to making the world a better place.

## **CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S REPORT**

The year 2023-2024 was a year that was unique in many ways. We are Extremely grateful to our Volunteers and paid staff, both of whom work extremely hard. They are truly tremendous and a credit to the work that we do. They work tirelessly and most sacrificially for, and on behalf of, the Charity and the public that we serve.

Our volunteers and staff are loyal, hard-working and believe in giving of their very best, which they do it with cheerfulness and a spirit of excellence. World Mandate Ministries and Every Nation Bible School UK would not be able to function to the capacity and excellence that it does without them.

We express our deepest gratitude to those who give of their time in prayer and financially support the charity through their kind donations. Praying and giving enables the work of God to touch and transform lives.

As a Christian charity we particularly and most importantly, express our gratitude and thanks to God for all His enablement and continued encouragement in all the work that we are doing in His Name.

The remainder of this report will describe the wonderful works that we have been able to conduct by God's grace as well as testifying of the fruitfulness of the said works.

As the purpose of going to Jamaica was to be available to serve and support Elaine’s mother, she recognised this would not be a full-time role. It was on that basis, Elaine agreed to continue to work online for three days a week. Her role will entail developing the ministry in Jamaica and further afield. This would mean that the staff team continue to be supported. A model that we believe would work well and, indeed, does work well.

Elaine also agreed that she would annually return to the UK for periods of time up to 8 weeks at a time, to be hands-on in the office and available to continue serving the ministry, Churches and other ministries.

On July 3 2024 a category 5 hurricane along with dual tornadoes devastated the south coast of Jamaica. Peter and Elaine’s home was destroyed in the hurricane with devastating effects that took off the whole roof. Subsequently, they were homeless.

In the wake of the hurricane, power, water and internet were completely out of commission for up to 6 weeks, which made communications and ongoing work for Elaine virtually impossible. Whilst Elaine did her very best to be in communications with the UK office, Elaine’s availability was hampered not only due to the physical devastation, but also due to the time required for both her and Peter to rebuild their home..

The remainder of this report will describe the wonderful works that we have been able to conduct by God's grace as well as testifying of the fruitfulness of the said works.

## **CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S REPORT continued...**

## **PREACHING THE GOSPEL**

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save and transform lives. When we talk about saving lives, we do so understanding that the word ‘save’ or ‘salvation’ means and is evidenced by the holistic restoration of a person. The person can be and is indeed restored in spirit, soul and body. We believe that Christianity is a faith that brings emotional, physical as well as spiritual peace, comfort and well-being. Christianity is practical and we believe that Christianity is not merely a religion with a belief system, we regularly witness the transformation of broken and chaotic lives being restored, which therefore enables individuals to live ordered lives from a place of well-being. This transformation thus empowers and enables individuals to be positive and constructive contributors to their world and are able to live meaningful lives within society and the world at large.

We therefore seek to assist and support people to experience the blessing of a living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, address mental health needs, offering support where requested and appropriate and receive prayer for physical healing where requested.

## **ENABLING BELIEVERS TO SERVE**

Our amazing volunteers continue to make magnificent contributions to the running of Every Nation Bible School UK. They research, study and prepare classes, give of their time to learn how to be even better tutors, teach students, mentor students, mark student work and assignments. We are truly grateful to God for these outstanding individuals who take of the God-given gift that they have and graciously impart into the lives of those who come to learn. In their attitude of giving and serving, they are excellent role models to the students the teaching and leading.

Their genuine servant hearts are a blessing to the whole of the Body of Christ as they equip Church members from across the county, nation and world. Collectively their donation of their time runs into thousands of hours.

In October 2016, Selina Forde enrolled as a student on ENBS. Selina caught the heart and vision of the Bible School and wanted to give back as a volunteer. Selina’s God-given ministry as a Bible teacher was formally recognised and she Commissioned as a Bible teacher to the body of Christ by WMM in 2019.

In August 2021, Selina Forde was promoted from her volunteer role to Principal of Every Nation Bible School UK. Elaine assumed the role of Associate Principal to enable Selina to flourish in her role and develop as Principal of the Bible School. Since that time Selina has continued to enable, educate and encourage students, staff and the ministry as a whole. As trustees we knew this was not the limit of Selina’s ministry and we knew that it was right for her to eventually become ordained.

It was our absolute delight, pleasure and privilege in May 2024, to witness the ordination of Selina by Churches in Communities, CiC. World Mandate Ministries is in affiliated partnership and relationship with CiC as a Network Ministry. In speaking with Selina’s pastors and sharing what we saw in Selina within ENBS and the recognition that ordination would further grant Selina as she interfaces with Church leaders, they were in total support of this move for Selina’s life.

We believe that every individual has been gifted of God to make a transformational contribution and difference to the world that is positive and constructive. It is with that belief that we run ENBS. Through the Bible School we seek to empower and enable people from all walks of life to serve in ways to make their positive contribution to the world today. ENBS is meeting practical needs in the lives of individuals, the outworking in the lives of students is life changing and revolutionary. We continue to work with the Church locally, nationally and internationally, training and equipping Church members to serve God.

The Annual Monitoring Review and External Examinations conducted by NCFE of ENBS again resulted in excellent reports. More discussed later in this report.

## **Pentecost in the Park**

In collaboration with many other Churches and ministries across Northamptonshire the joint event, “Pentecost in the Park” was held in Abington Park for Pentecost.

The team engaged with visitors to the event as they were dotted around the park having picnics, fun and enjoying time with family and friends.

Churches shared in singing songs of worship and explaining the purpose of the Christian festival of Pentecost.

Pentecost in the Park in Northamptonshire is not an isolated event.

It is part of a network of events that usually happens around the whole of the country on that day.

These events have been happening for over 10 years and were halted during the pandemic.

The local churches work collaboratively and in partnership with National Day of Prayer and Worship.

**Visitors at the**

**World Mandate Ministries stand.**

One of the purposes of Pentecost in the Park is to create an arena whereby members of the public can visit the different stands of the diversity of churches, ministries, clubs and societies that work together for the good of the community in Northamptonshire.

Visitors enjoy the array of stands that are present and engage in conversations with stallholders.

These are always great days % with visitors specifically requesting return visits the following year.

## **PREACHING THE GOSPEL**

In keeping with the Great Commission of Jesus in the making of disciples, our wonderful staff team of volunteers continue to run discipleship courses with a number of churches in the county. In addition to this, the team have one-to-one discipleship classes with individuals that express a desire to know more and particularly those that profess a confession of faith in Jesus Christ . Some of the sessions are held face-to-face whilst others are held by way of ZOOM.

The Courses are run free of charge.

The idea behind these courses is to empower and equip congregation members, so that as new converts begin attending their church they are able to help them with the rudimentary and foundational beliefs of the Christian faith.

The five week course that is used is called STARTING OFF. This has been a tried and tested model of early stage discipleship for many years. The fruit of which has resulted in people being firmly established in the Christian faith and going on to be able to engage in vocational service and activities that benefit the wider community where their Churches are based.

We are extremely grateful to our volunteers that serve in the different Churches with these courses. We are constantly encouraged at the tremendous difference these courses are making in people’s lives and in turn, transmuting that difference to their churches and local communities.

A sample of the material that is used In the presentation of the discipleship course..

## **EQUIPPING THE SAINTS**

**Equipping and training the local church is the primary way the Charity equips Christian believers to serve.**

Staff teams visit churches and groups of Churches to equip and enable members to be even more competent in their work of service within the Church and local communities.

WMM adheres very strongly to working with and supporting the local church in reaching, serving and being of public benefit to local communities. WMM will work with and serve any Church regardless of denomination. Our goal is to help Christians to be effective in serving their local Church and communities with their God-given gifts.

As an accredited teaching institution ENBS believes that Continual Professional Development (CPD) is very important. To teach and equip others is an honour and privilege. It is therefore vital that tutors continue to receive input to make their teaching even more fruitful.

Almost all of our tutors are volunteers and are qualified by way of academic credentials, personal gifting, calling, ministry experience and certainly life experience.

Our staff team are humble individuals who all serve the Lord with the spirit of excellence. They are keen to develop themselves and receive ongoing training.

Over the summer all of our volunteers attend a ‘refresher course’ on teaching in the classroom enabling them to be even more fruitful in and through their teaching ministry. They also attend evening seminars that are held during the year that will upskill and further empower them to be even more fruitful and effective in their service delivery.

## **EVERY NATION BIBLE SCHOOL UK (ENBS)**

ENBS is open to any member of the public who wishes to develop practical skills and abilities in Christian service and being able to serve their Church and local community.

All of the courses offered by the Bible School are Biblically based with the emphasis on practical equipping. The courses are part-time, running either fortnightly or monthly, evenings and weekends. The Bible School is accredited and subject to annual inspections by External Quality Assessments (EQA) ensuring that we meet rigorous and exacting standards of the National Awarding Organisation NCFE

ENBS classrooms are environments of safety and encouragement. The teaching is powerful. Learning is fun, interactive and life-changing with ministry and impartation. Most importantly the opportunity is given to put into practice what has been learnt. This is done by way of an end of year Evangelistic mission/campaign, where students are released to work with the local church in community evangelism.

trajectories followed, improved personal self development, transformation and growth, which engenders new and heightened levels of confidence, self belief, self esteem and self worth. In themselves, these qualities whilst invisible are manifested visibly in and through constructive and positive contributions in their personal lives and wider communities.

## **PREACHING THE GOSPEL**

Evangelist Roundtable has continued to work alongside local Churches in evangelistic missions and outreaches throughout Northamptonshire and Market Harborough. The gospel was preached and proclaimed, along with songs of worship, music, and sharing of personal testimonies. All the outreaches throughout Northamptonshire produced fruit, with souls being saved. The follow -up from the outreaches brought an opportunity to continue relationships as discipleship courses were arranged and people were invited into the local Churches for Sunday services.

The teams ministered in God's love to the communities and sharing the good news of the Gospel. Many deep conversations were had on the streets around Northamptonshire.

## **EVERY NATION BIBLE SCHOOL UK HOLIDAY CLUB**

Our tremendous Trustee, Vanessa Morgan and her amazing team of wonderful volunteers, yet again hosted holiday club for the children of the local community and beyond. These holiday clubs are extremely important, because for some of the children they are the sowing of seeds and laying a godly foundation for their lives.

This years theme was about how we are fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalm 139:14

The 3 glasses represent Spirit (darkest blue), Soul and body. They demonstrated how one part of us can affect the other.

We talked about things we should and could do to keep these areas well nourished; with the children understanding the fruit of the Spirit

As well as programmed activities, there were times when the children had time and space to themselves to engage in fellowship and other activities.

14

## **EVERY NATION BIBLE SCHOOL UK HOLIDAY CLUB**

It should be 2 years. Good, it is fun. It is amazing. I think it I would like to is perfect. come again.

I would like a Christmas holiday club too.

## **EQUIPPING THE SAINTS**

Every Nation Bible School UK hosted a MINISTERS OPEN DAY for local Ministers and Church Leaders to visit the Bible School and learn all about Every Nation Bible School, its vision and values.

**Volunteer Beverley, warmly welcoming visitors to the Open Day**

One leader was so impacted and impressed by the quality of courses, tuition and team, that they immediately signed up members of the church leadership team to enroll onto one of the courses that was due to start shortly.

We again ran, what is fast becoming one of our increasingly popular courses, **Biblical Self Leadership.** Excellent self leadership and management is an essential prerequisite if we are going to be fruitful leader of others.

The course runs for 5 sessions with options for day time or evening subject to numbers. Both face to face and zoom.

It is a course of personal development and transformation as students learn to lead and manage self well!

As many members of the staff team share during the Open Days.

They are delighted to tell of their experiences as students that become tutors. hey testify of the impact and life transformation that they witness in the lives of

## **EQUIPPING THE SAINTS**

## **IMPACT STATEMENT FROM RECENT STUDENT**

I came to know about the Practical Apologetic course through Elaine and Selina who invited me to the ENBS open day event.

I felt an inner prompting after the presentation to do the course immediately. I knew the course was relevant and that it would assist me with my desire to do more evangelism and outreach in obedience to the Great Commission. The inner prompt was confirmed when Selina offered the course as a gift.

The course resulted in a deepened desire and passion for evangelism and outreach. Practical Apologetics gave me a better understanding and knowledge of alternative world views and increased my cultural intelligence. My enthusiasm and commitment to reaching others has been heightened. I was equipped with specific “tools” and I look forward to friendship evangelism at the gym, restaurants, jazz clubs and other social places and functions.

I am now giving of my time to assist other Christians, Pastors and leaders encouraging and empowering them to share the gospel with greater love and understanding across various cultural boundaries.

The modules are well designed to meet their objectives. The lecturer is well prepared and allows for classroom interaction and further enrichment from the participants. Support material and references for further reading and research are provided for every module. The course is relevant to the South African context and current global events. Overall, the course is just amazing!!

## **LAUNCHED**

## **PATHWAY TO ACCREDITED PUBLIC MINISTRY (ORDINATION PATHWAY)**

We recognise that ordination for public Christian ministry is becoming increasingly important for those ministering in the public arena. For many in Christian, religious and non religious sectors of society, ordination is increasingly becoming a validating element that influences ministerial acceptance and collaboration.

We identified the gap that existed particularly for believers outside of the denominational structures. That gap, we believe, can be influenced in some way through **Every Nation Bible School UK.**

In partnership with **Churches in Communities (CIC)** we value very much the facility to function with strong accountability.

In October 2023 we launched **Pathway to Accredited Public Ministry.**

**A** brand-new course that will earn and be awarded at **Diploma Level 5** . .

The purpose of the **‘Pathway to Accredited Public Ministry,’** is for those who feel a very clear and distinct calling to ‘public’ ministry,’ to be further equipped and engage in theological, ministerial and personal developmental studies. It will include the practical demonstration of the calling and gifting within the life sphere of the student/applicant, thus making full proof of their ministry as per 2 Timothy 4:5.

The Pathway to Accredited Public Ministry (PAPM) is a comprehensive Level 5 Diploma programme designed to equip individuals for effective and accredited public ministry. This flexible programme, typically completed within 2-3 years (duration dependent on defined criteria), provides a robust foundation in theology, ministry skills and personal development.

## **The PAPM programme integrates:**

Theological studies

Ministerial training

Personal spiritual development

Practical demonstration of your calling and gifts.

## **Flexible Start Dates:**

Begin your programme at any time, with year-round enrolment.

## **Personalised Programme Plan:**

Develop a bespoke programme plan outlining your module progression, tailored to your needs.

## **Module Flexibility:**

Each module has defined start dates, times, durations, and locations (both on-site and online).

## **Comprehensive Curriculum:**

PAPM involves theological, ministerial, and personal development studies.

## **Accredited by NCFE**

## **ENBS UK - GRADUATION**

**ENBS had the great privilege to host its 24th Graduate Service. Having equipped and now releasing more workers in to the harvest**

**Rev Elaine Roberts travelled from Jamaica to be our guest speaker and spent 8 weeks in the UK ministering.**

**At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduands receive prayer and are commissioned into their ministries. Each person received the ministry of the laying on of hands as per Acts 13 and apostolically released to serve the local, national and global Body of Christ.**

**As per pages 14-15 of this report, the wonderful children that attended the holiday club, were invited to be part of the graduation service and they too received their own certificates and awards for attending.**

**The Graduation Services are always great days of celebration for graduands, their family and friends. Prophet Joseph Adegboyega and his beautiful family gather for a family snap.**

## **PREACHING THE GOSPEL & EQUIPPING THE SAINTS**

## **C2C SOCIAL ACTION**

## **AKA**

## **CRIME TO CHRIST**

## **20TH ANNIVERSARY**

## **CELEBRATIONS**

**Founder** of C2C Julie Parsons, Rev Elaine Roberts, Vice Lieutenant: Morcia Walker MBE, CEO of C2C: Michelle Shaw, Northampton Mayor: Cllr Stephen Hibbert

**RIGHT** : Mayor Hibbert being inspired by Michelle Shaw inspired by the work of C2C Social Action.

Twenty years ago, Sergeant Julie Parsons, who served within the Northampton police service, had a vision to reach out to offenders to help steer them away from a life of crime and incarceration.

At that time Julie was a volunteer with World Mandate Ministries and shared that vision with the trustees. The trustees were excited about this vision, seeing both the potential and impact it would have on the offending community.

We assisted Julie in the early days and encouraged her in the work of Crime to Christ, as it was known then. Knowing intuitively that the work of Crime to Christ had a life force of its own and deserved to stand as a ministry in its own right, we lovingly, encouraged and released Julie to take a leap of faith to step out from World Mandate Ministries and become a registered charity. With a tear stained face, hesitantly and with fear and trepidation Julie stepped out and took that leap of faith. We stood by Julie, walked with her, counselled and mentored her until Crime to Christ was able to stand on its own two feet.

The rest, as they say is history, Crime to Christ, has become an award winning and a force to be reckoned with. Delivering life changing services to both men and women helping to support and constructively develop their lives to help steer individuals from a life of crime.

It was the absolute delight pleasure and privilege of Elaine to be the guest speaker at their 20 years celebration. The Mayor of Northampton was in attendance that day. Upon hearing of the wonderful work that C2C contribute to the town, county and indeed the nation, awarded them a generous grant from the Mayor's charity account..

## **DESTINED FOR THE THRONE CONFERENCE**

Destined for the throne conference held in October was a powerful gathering of hungry like minded believers seeking one thing only, the heart and mind of God in His service. Doctor Hugh Osgood was our speaker for the day and his inspirational and anointed ministry touched the hearts and lives of all in attendance.

The theme of the conference was to further encourage believers in their walk with God in preparation of the days that lay ahead.

People gathered in St. Giles church, Northampton and gave positive and encouraging feedback on how their faith had been lifted, encouraged and strengthened,

empowering them with confidence to make constructive and progressive choices about their future ministry and service to the Lord.

## **ORDINATION OF SELINA FORDE**

World Mandate Ministries first met Selina Forde when she attended our Teacher Training course at WMM in 2015. From that day, her life was never the same. The Lord prompted Selina to attend the 5x5 Fivefold conference, that we hosted in 2016. At that conference the Lord spoke to Selina about her calling into His ministry.

Selina subsequently became a volunteer with WMM and enrolled on the Equipped 4 Life course.

**Selina, receiving her holy charge from Rev Trevor Howard of CiC.**

Selina’s passion for teaching God’s Word, equipping and releasing people to fulfil their potential was clearly evident.

**Selina, receiving the biblical laying on of hands, being ordained into her ministry and receiving prayer.**

With the support of her Church Pastors, Selina served WMM and ENBS. Having

made full proof of her ministry, Selina rightly commands the respect of her peers, ministers and church leaders, both locally and nationally.

**Selina and Trevor signing her ordination papers.**

It was with the open counsel and support of her pastors that Selina was ordained by Churches in Communities (CiC) into full public ministry.

The evening was magnificently completed by the beautifully anointed prayers of her father Dr Winston Morgan, live online via zoom all the way from Jamaica.

**Introducing Rev Selina Forde**

Selina is a God-anointed Bible teacher and powerful disciple maker. The anointing she carries transforms lives. **The Trustees of World Mandate Ministries proudly commend Rev. Selina Forde to the wider Church of Jesus Christ.**

## **DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS**

## **ENBS in JAMAICA**

In keeping with the World Mandate Ministries mission and vision to equip the Saints wherever we are, we had the great privilege to host the Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts course in 2023 and 2024. A total of 20 students from four different Churches across St Elizabeth, enrolled and completed the course.

It was a tremendous opportunity and something that none of the students had ever experienced before. Nearly all of the students related the way they felt about themselves was, “Well this is how I am.” and “This is what I'm like.” They were astounded to discover that the way in which they “am” and “were like”, was indeed ordained and gifted of God.

They were elated to discover about their talents and abilities were actually God appointed special gifts in which He had gifted and empowered them to be able to serve Him and not just “What they were like.” From that point onwards, we witnessed many of them how they immediately deployed their gifts in new and exciting ways; knowing that they were indeed serving the Lord and edifying the body of Christ.

Two Pastors attended the course and for both of them it was a game changer in terms of ministry and how they proceeded from that time forward. Two further members were also blessed to be appointed to leadership roles within their church, having discovered that they had been gifted of God to lead. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

We honour studies, assignments and hard work. The above picture was taken at the graduation service held in June 2024, for those who were able to attend.

## **LADIES OUT of LOCKDOWN**

Elaine was kept very busy while she was in the UK, with her ministering at many churches, gatherings and conferences.

Here, Elaine ministered at “Ladies Out of Lockdown” Conference at Lighthouse Gospel Church in Spalding.

Whilst the country was a good year out of lockdown restrictions and impositions; between Elaine and the leadership of the church it was felt that this day’s ministry conference, was the needed catalyst for many women as they continued to emotionally and spiritually recalibrate and navigate

out of the previous two years lockdown restrictions.

There was wonderful feedback with the church leadership receiving testimonies and accounts of how God had ministered deeply into the lives of the ladies that attended the conference during the day. si

## **Elaine September to October 2023**

Elaine’s visit was certainly eventful and fruitful with her attending and speaking at the ENBS student graduation, Elaine worked in the office on various projects as well as supporting the team. She also had the great privilege to visit every single one of the team members in their homes and have personal time to catch up and pray together. Attending trustees meetings and the annual ministry family day together. She was also the guest speaker at C2C Social Action, 20th anniversary celebrations. HOPE Church, Wellingborough, HOPE Church Corby and various planning meetings, Destined for the Throne conference, ENBS inspection, ladies out of lockdown conference in Spalding, teaching on the Bible school, plus much more.

## **Elaine was back in May 2024**

Thankfully Elaine was able to be present for the ordination of Rev Selina Forde. She was also invited to be one of the speakers at the connect 24 - bi-annual gathering/ conference held by CiC at the Hayes Centre, Swanwick. . Elaine was requested to speak on the matter of cultural challenges of leadership.

Elaine again returned to Spalding gospel church ministering at both their morning services with inspiring messages to encourage and deepen the faith of those in attendance. She also attended the Focus on Israel day of prayer and continue to work and serve the team in the Northampton office.

## **WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE POOR YOU LEND TO THE LORD: PROVERBS 19:17**

Elaine was moved to tears as she learned of the plight of Pauline and her two grandsons, Romario and Brandon. Both boys abandoned by their parents. Pauline is unable to work, due to suffering with lupus, Pauline it is at the mercy of expensive doctor visits and medication.

The boys have a great aptitude to learn. Romario wants to become a pilot when he leaves school while Brandon is still undecided. Brandon is on the spectrum suffering with autism. He is getting help..

When Elaine saw the awards, certificates and school reports that the boys received despite struggling to attend school on a consistent basis, due to lack of funds, it was abundantly clear that as a ministry we were to help this precious little family.

**Pauline, Brandon and Romario**

There is no benefit system in Jamaica. You either have funds for medical assistance and education or you don't. Pauline and her family don’t!

Members of the World Mandate Ministries team were so touched by the need that a number of the team contribute monthly to support the family. The money is distributed monthly to the family through the nurse that is assigned at Pauline’s doctor's surgery.

We receive reports from school and meet with Pauline, Brandon and Romario on a regular basis. We know the funds are being appropriately used and well spent. Romario wants to be a pilot. The way things are going for him at school there is no question that he will achieve his heart’s desire. Brandon, being so much younger than Romario, is still quite undecided. We pray that God will continue to keep his hand on this beautiful family and heal Pauline from this horrible disease of lupus.

**providing Romario and Brandon with the education they deserve.**

## **EDUCATION IN UGANDA**

WMM trustees stand on the words of the Bible: “If a man is hungry, then a simple ‘God bless you’ means absolutely nothing.” Mere words do not change the plight of the hungry, the marginalised and the helpless. We believe that care for the poor is to be tangible, practical and relevant to those in need. WMM is committed to supporting the poor and marginalised in this and other countries. **TITHING**

WMM adheres to the Biblical injunction of tithing. Meaning that 10% of all ‘undesignated’ income is put into a ‘tithe account,’ to meet the needs that are bought to the attention of the trustees, including the schooling of these children.

## **FEEDING THE POOR**

Financial grant assistance was given to help relieve poverty locally, nationally and internationally. Careful and prayerful consideration is given to the distribution of all funds raised. The charity only supported needs and smaller projects where an audit trail of how the finances have been spent was accessible. We are thrilled to be able to state that despite the closure of the charity shop, finances were still made available through the kind giving of individuals who knew that despite the closure of the charity shop monies were still required to support individuals, ministries and orphans. Due to this ongoing kindness World Mandate Ministries took the decision to support three more Orphans in Uganda.

## **There are currently ten children being sponsored in Uganda. Funds raised pay**

**for school uniforms, text books, exercise books and stationary. The generous giving allows families to send their children to school. Education for many precious children is the only way out of poverty. We receive regular photographs updated along with annual school reports** .

## **CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE**

## **DEVSTATES SOUTH COAST OF JAMAICA**

July 3rd 2024—a devastating cat 5 hurricane made landfall on the south coast of Jamaica. Peter and Elaine house was totally destroyed by the hurricane and they had to rebuild their home with a new concrete roof. Peter and Elaine learned of at least 5 families with small children and elderly that were in need of immediate assistance. Whilst Peter and Elaine were insured—many are not.

**BEFORE:** Glenmore’s house. 3 lots of windows were blown out by the hurricane.

**AFTER**

**Shawna’s house, still under reconstruction:**

BEFORE: Curry’s house—lives with elderly parents and he is still out of work.

**Monies were distributed by way of placing funds at the local hardware stores that were nearest to those in need. That way monies could only be spent on roof, window and door replacements.**
