**Objects:** TO RELIEVE PERSONS IN THE AREA OF EAST KENT WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP BY: (A) THE PROVISION OF FURNITURE AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ACCESSORIES; (B) THE PROVISION OF TRAINING TO SUPPLY THE SKILLS TO IMPROVE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES; AND (C) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

**Activities:** Necessary Furniture is a charitable organisation set up to provide furniture and household goods for the disadvantaged within the community.  In addition Necessary Furniture (in partnership with the relevant agencies) provides work experience for unemployed people.
