## **Objectives and activities for the public benefit** 

All Round Table charities exist to raise funds which can then be distributed to worthy causes in the area local to each Table. 

Sevenoaks Round Table creates a large Fireworks Event each year in Sevenoaks, this event raises funds that we then distribute to local charities and worthy causes.  Charities who request funds are asked to complete an application form, and this application is then discussed between the members, and a vote held to decide whether or not to grant the funding to the applicant. 

## **Grant making policy** 

The Charity decides to offer grants mainly to charities that are based/involved in the area local to Sevenoaks.  We also prefer to make grants based on the purchase of specific pieces of equipment or to fund events, rather than to just contribute to the overall running costs of a charity or to fund employees of the nominated charity. 

## **Grant commitments** 

The charity currently has approximately 16,000.00 worth of applications pending approval. 

## **Serious incident reporting** 

The charity has no serious incidents to report for the period covered by this report.
